Just returned after a 2 week stay, had a brilliant time, room was basic but clean, cleaners were fantastic. Big terrace in front of the bungalow with sun loungers so we didn’t go to the pool, only time we went was to the bar. “Good hotel and location”

We had seen a few negative reviews about Caybeach before our holiday so were a bit apprehensive. However, we had a great holiday and although the hotel is reasonably basic, the rooms are good sized and clean and a decent pool area. We stayed in a two bedroom bungalow and it was a good size with a patio outside. The apartment was cleaned quite frequently and the towels changed etc. There are a lot of tiny ants which seem to get in and get on any food you leave out which is a bit frustrating, we couldn't really find a way round it, even tried hanging bread etc in carrier bags but they still got in. We went with two teenagers aged 15 and 17 and their holiday was honestly made brilliant by Hugo from Mexico who did the day and evening activities. He was brilliant - just the right balance of getting everyone involved but without being too pushy. He nick-named our kids Messi and Shakira which stuck throughout the holiday! :-D My son gets a bit bored just sitting around the pool so having the entertainment was great for him. Us as parents enjoyed the happy hours! Which they do at 12-1 and 5-6 and the frozen strawberry daquiris are lovely. A couple of the bar staff are particularly good, one guy who works in the day time and would often top up our cocktails with any extra when he made too much. And the evening bartender who likes to have a bit of fun and get involved in the activities sometimes. The location of Caybeach was perfect for us, walking distance to town, the beach, restaurants and bars and also plenty of nice walks around the area. We were able to get sunbeds at the pool most days as long as we were there about 10. Would definitely recommend Caybeach as a hotel just wouldn't necessarily go back to Caleta de Fuste - it's a nice resort and there are some lovely places but a bit too over-run with Brits and mobility scooters!!

“Brilliant stay”

We had a brilliant stay at caybeach rooms cleaned and towels changed every day bed comfortable loved having our own sunbeds on our patio area nice pool area very quiet very close to town and the beach friendly staff we could not fault this place

Well we came home on the 20th November after a fantastic 11 night's.... Rooms basic but very spacious, great setup great lay out, i did have problems with likkle cockroaches went to the reception, and the lovley bloke got it dealt with rite away and we got left a spray in the room, They must ov been a problem in there as we had them every night wen we put the lights on, The biggest upset was 3 days before coming home, It was 18.45 on Sunday night, my husband was in the shower i was stood at the bedroom door with the patio door open, and I came face to face with a guy who came into the bungalow and ran out with my handbag we was very lucky because our phones and purse was there but he just took the 1 handbag. (Nothing really in it just a lippy) But not the point..... SO PLEASE BECARFUL AND KEEP THE DOORS LOCKED EVEN IF UR THERE!!!! I went to reception rite away and the young lady wasn't helpful at all infact she was quite rude!! They just said contact the police, It hasn't put me off from going to caleta. I don't think I'd come back to caybeach again because the safety aspect, it's all open and no security and not very well lit up!! But apart from that it was an amazing holiday and loved the pool area. Debbie from Manchester
