On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
We would also like to inform you of the following restrictions included in the law:
Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties. These practices include climbing from one balcony or window to another and jumping from inappropriate places such as balconies into swimming pools (a practice widely known as ';balconing';). Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.
Failure to comply with the prohibition of practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests will be considered a serious offence. In the Balearic Islands, serious offences are subject to a fine between 6,001 and 60,000 euros.

WE had not had a holiday abroad in 18 years so as a last minute inpromptu moment I book a getaway for my Wife two sons and myself via some webb site, and the Jorge come up, we had no idea what to expect as all to go on was a couple of photo,s so we had no grand vision of grandeur so we were not disappointed the rooms were very clean and tidy if somewhat dated, the staff spoke very little English which we found endearing as we had to at least try to speak some Spanish, this made for a fun time with all the staff as it was just as difficult for them. the Breakfast was a little basic but eadible. as we had half board we had the evening meals again a challenge to understand but with the help of the free wifi my son was able to get onto good old google and translate, once we new what the food was we were able to make our choices not mitchlin star but varied and tasty, as to the pool we just used this for a late dip after coming off what can only be described as the jewel in the crown. (El Campello beach) with its golden sands and clear mediterranean Sea lapping at the shore with plenty of restuarants and shops there is plent to do and just a short walk in all directions will take you to other shops and bistro's so I say thanks for the Jorge because without it, we would never have discovered El Campello beach, also having been there once we subsequently returned and found the place had not changed however our Spanish has. one last thing I cannot remember her name (Rude I know) but one of the reception ladies was from Liverpool She was very helpful and full of information about the area, and a great translator
