Apartments are basic but they don’t charge much so what do people expect it was the cheapest available so don’t expect 5 star! The staff on arrival were so friendly, smiling, happy & gave us extra pillows, we hired hairdryer & a few large towels at €2 each. They provided us with 2 toilet rolls but in every self catering apartment I’ve ever stayed in you buy your own. We had more than enough cooking utensils, boiled the water in small saucepan on hob so didn’t need kettle. Not one provided but I still got my tea/coffee no problem. The beds were very comfortable, firm, clean and sheets white, ironed like new with plenty of clean blankets. The bathroom didn’t smell great but was clean, powerful shower plenty of hot water. We kept bathroom door shut it’s the Spanish drains but it was not over bearing hardly noticed it. The place was clean, some scrapes, scratches to paintwork but a lot of 1/2 star places are like this. The bar staff were so friendly, polite, funny & we ran a tab so didn’t have to keep paying. We paid for parking had lots of room to park underneath and car was very safe with barrier & key fob entry. Location right next door to some fantastic cafes restaurants serving beautiful breakfasts, lunch dinner & I counted 5 supermarkets literally across the street or round the corner. This place is basic but we paid hardly anything and we got great value for money. If you pay peanuts you don’t get diamonds! It’s a cheap n cheerful holiday with happy, friendly polite staff. We spoke to them with respect and were friendly so they were friendly back! It’s so close to 3 beaches and the strip. The swimming pool was clean, warm & plenty of sunbeds every day no fighting to find one. Cleaners picking up rubbish and cleaning pool. Was in the pool so much it was shallow then deep in middle so suitable for younger children. Baby pool was used daily by little ones. Umbrellas all round pool. Great to have no blasting out music it was quiet apart from families/people enjoying the pool. The lifts to all floors worked perfectly & were quick, never busy never had to wait long. If you come here don’t expect a posh hotel it is what a basic apartment block should be. It could do with some motorisation but so could a lot of salou? It’s really not as bad as so many state. The management are very strict on noise at night so there was never a single sound at night from anyone apart from a dog barking one night from down the street. Slept like a baby! We’ve had a 4 night stay and often stay 5 star paying a fortune but this was a cheap getaway so no complaints here. It is what it is & what you make it. Cheaper than a caravan holiday in uk so no complaints here!!
