Just got back from inter 2 and we had a fab week. The room was avarage. A bit dated. But if anything brakes there replacing it. The air con is fab that you need. The little kitchen is very handy. The food was very good. We didnt have a bad meal. There is plenty of staff and its very clean. The entertainment staff work very hard and the hotel is very good for kids. But we didnt have any. The pool party is fab on a thursday. The receptions always there to help. And very friendly. Theres two lift there old but work well. Theres a sports bar and pool bar and bar were the entertainment is. Also you can use the beer garden a bar in the next hotel which is good. All staff are very friendly. The location is good two just 5 mins down the hill and your in the main bit of salou. Days out we went to tarrogona and la panida market well worth going. All in all a low budget hotel doing a fab job

Just got back from our Holiday in Inter 2. We were given the room 416. First day was okay as we got in there in the evening so we went out to get some dinner with my family. The next day there was a bad smell coming out from the toilet and had spread all over the room. It was like a sewer smell and we went to the reception area to mention about it. Someone came straightaway to fix the smell but she couldn't understand us as she only speak Spanish. The only thing we understood was that she is coming back in 20 mins, she then went off but never came back. So we had to go down again to the reception to tell them that we waited for the lady for more than 2 hours but she never came back and we have to go out as my children are getting hungry already. They said they will attend to it soon. We came back to the room after dinner and the smell was gone and the room smells like it had been sprayed with Febreze. That was grand we thought it was sorted out then. The next morning the smell came back and it was worst than before, it made us nauseous. So we have to go back down again and tell them that the smell is back and it is worst than ever. The lady receptionist who's name starts with D (Doae- my apology i cant remember her name) was very nice and understanding and asked us if we wanted a new room and we said "Yes please". I have explained to her that my daughter has asthma and it is not good for her to smell the chemicals they have put in the toilet and the spray that they used to get rid of the smell in our room while I on the other hand suffer from migraine, vertigo and nausea- and on that day despite of me taking my meds had suffered with headache, dizziness and puking already from the terrible smell. Anyway anyone booking Inter 2 please avoid Room 416 and if you do please ask to be transferred as the smell is really bad in that room. All in all we had a great holiday, all the staff were really nice and helpful. Millie, Arron and Max amd the other entertainment staff were very entertaining. They kept everyone going and entertained. Such a great entertainment team in the hotel. All the other staff from the reception area, bar and restaurant were all very nice too. We paid for breakfast in the hotel and breakfast was fine for me and my family as they served fruits, cereals, bacon, eggs, bread, etc. (Pictures for breakfast will be posted with this comment.) A few days we went out for dinner as we like to go out and see tourist spots and for the last 3 days we paid for dinner in the hotel as it was just handy then after our day out. Food was fine, we had ribs, chicken, fish, pasta with salad, etc. They also cooked porkchops and lamb the other nights. Entertainment was packed with bingo, game shows and Broadway. The best one that we saw for Broadway was the tribute for Becky Hill. That lady was brilliant! We were there when Spain won over France in football and it was great to see and experience how the whole crowd cheered when Spain won. We were in the Salou Centre/Plaza which is only a 5 min walk from the hotel and everyone was celebrating the win. It was such a great night for everyone! If you want to go on tours Bus Plana is really a place for you to visit. Pablo who was tending Bus Plana was very helpful and he booked us our Panoramic tour for Barcelona. It was such a great trip. He also recommended to buy the €10 bus card to use for our trip to Tarragona which is only 20 to 30 mins bus trip away from the hotel. The hotel is in the middle of everything from restaurants, supermarkets and bus stops to everywhere. Beach is like 10 mins walk from the hotel. We only went once to the beach. I would recommend this hotel as it is a budget friendly hotel and everyone is very nice and helpful. Without fogetting to mention that we booked our day out to PortAventura Caribe watermark (Highly Recommended) in the hotel and the lady receptionist told us to come back to her so she can book us the taxi to PortAventura. 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for me for this hotel stay even though the hotel accommodation is basic but this is what we paid for and me and my family had a great time while we stayed in Inter 2. We will definitely come back here.
