We stayed as a family of 4 along with another family of 4. Firstly want to give a special mention to David at the bar. He couldn’t do anymore for us all and so friendly , so my credit goes to him as he made our holiday. All bar staff were great. I agree with previous reviews that the entertainment at night is not the best for children - some nights the disco didn’t even come on even though it was on schedule. Also it was unbearable to sit inside as the air con wasn’t working for the full 10 nights we were there so we were constantly having to sit outside. Lights switched off at 1130 and only place you could sit was at reception which I have never experienced before. Rooms are very small which made it quite uncomfortable. However I would say it is a very clean well kept hotel with friendly staff but as an overall experience it wasn’t up to standard we are used to which was unexpected given a rating as a 4 star.

I am an experienced traveler visiting many hotels over the years including all over Spain. Positives The rooms are clean and the staff themselves have been excellent to deal with and they have tried their best to attend to any issues with the room and share their local knowledge. There is a good selection of food on offer and again the staff have been wonderful to deal with. The hotel is nicely located next to the shops and and a wide selection of bars. The beach is also a stone throw away making it easy for families to access. Negatives The noise in this hotel at night is the worst I have come across. I am talking 2am in the morning shouting screaming, swearing at times. For a four star hotel I expected better and more done to stop this kind of behaviour. My family and I have not slept a full night since we have been here. The food in the restaurant is always cold. I dont why this is. I have attended even when the restaurant opens and it's still cold. If your unlucky and don't pay for a room upgrade the rooms are boxes and tiny. We had to move due to the room been so small. Think premier inn but even smaller. This hotel I would grade a 3 star. It's definitely not a four star and if your looking for a better dining experience, more space and quieter evenings this is not the hotel for you.

Arrived. Check in smooth. Upto level 5 and almost knocked out by smell of drains in corridor. Horrendous. Next morning had gone but again towards night it comes again ! They offered room change, our room didn’t smell inside so we couldn’t be arsed. Free safe. Free air con. 3 free drinks. Food: found g8 choice and hot. We liked it. Cleanliness is v good Staff welcoming I don’t understand how u can order same drink at bar and each time it’s in different size n type of glass/beaker ! I don’t like how they turn lights off and kick you out of outdoor area when bar closes, more could be made this area, citronella candles, twinkly lights low music etc There isn’t a shop or book swap on site. Strange for size of hotel There aren’t toilets in the restaurant area level. There’s a tv to watch sport but it’s literally no sound and no subtitles on. So annoying fighting to hear over the entertainment ( excessively loud ) and music. Lots of people wanted to watch big euro games, there was no atmosphere due to above and hotel showed no attempt to reflect the Euros. There really should be a sport bar area where u can listen away from that other racket! Pool area needs more / new umbrellas, somehow seems bit rundown. The lifeguard showed zero interest, had his earphones in and feet up on his phone. If you come here you’ll b fine it’s just when you look more closely you notice these things. Didn’t like the walk on drop off. Short but tiring

The staff member at check in was super friendly and helpful and went out her way to try and locate my jacket which I left on the Plana bus. The room we were given was a pool view which was appreciated however the room had an issue with the toilet which was flooding. We reported this on noticing it at 11am and after going backwards and forwards to reception we were eventually moved rooms at about 7.15pm about 5 doors down. The new room had an issue with the safe which was sorted immediately. All of the messing about made us miss a dinner reservation and stressed us both out. We shouldn't have had this problem and should have been moved much earlier. The head receptionist was very understanding and we did get a free drink from the bar to apologise. We didn't really like the food at breakfast especially the omelette which was disgusting. We just ate fruit and cold meats and had a few fruit juices. The hotel is definitely not what we'd call 4 star. It is more a 3 star. This is from someone that has stayed in many many 2, 3, 4 and 5 star properties worldwide. I don't think we would stay with the Best Hotel chain again.
