I decided to do my first solo holiday. And choose to stay here. I was nervous as it’s busy but I felt safe. I was also seriously delayed leaving England. Was meant to arrive at my hotel at 8.30pm but didn’t arrive until 5am, I was in contact with the hotel as I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to get in. The staff messaged back instantly saying my key will be left with the security guard. And it was. I was told to check in once I’d woken. The staff really are very helpful & lovely. The room was pleasant, clean & comfortable. It was perfect for what I needed. Air Con comes on certain hours of the day/night - when the window is shut. This is included in your room (as previously read a review saying it cost extra) It’s in a perfect location, shops, restaurants, bars etc etc. Yes it could be a little loud of a night time but what do you expect when your staying in Spain?! And although it doesn’t have a pool you are literally a 2 minute walk from the beach. So it’s nice to actually get out everyday. This place serves breakfast but I couldn’t tell you anything about it as I never made it. I blame the Spanish drinks measuring haha. Overall I would definitely return I was sad to go. Also it’s probably a 10 min walk, if that, to the bus stop which you can get direct to Reus Airport cost me €3.05. There are also direct links to Barcelona, Valencia etc etc. The train station is probably a good 20/25 minute walk. But the bus is actually quicker, cheaper and a lot cooler. Thank you Hostal Tahiti for making my first solo trip perfect. It was exactly what I needed. I would recommend it to anyone on a budget.

I just wanted to say thank you to all the staff who were very accommodating for a short notice booking when my trip didn’t go to plan. Very friendly and extremely accommodating I would recommend to anyone. The hotel is located a stones throw away from the beach, nightlife and also many restaurants and shops. There is always plenty to do. Air con was very good as the weather was 31 degrees some days. Special thank you to the lady who checked me in I’ll never forget it :)

If your looking for a reasonably priced hotel in Salou that’s not expensive in price then this is your place. If your looking for a reasonably priced hotel in Salou that’s not expensive in price then this is your place. It has no pool or bar or anything like that so I wouldn’t recommend staying in the height of summer but late summer, late spring would be fine. The rooms are ok, clean, the showers are the old style ones where you have to adjust the hot and cold taps accordingly and the shower curtains a bit minging from dragging along the floor when wet. The rooms have tv, (no cable) a good sized wardrobe and air conditioning. I think you have to pay for the air con but ours kept coming on itself periodically so try the switch! Another tip, don’t try pretend your a single traveller to get the cheap room rate, you will be caught! I reckon they would try charge you if you brought a bird or guy back at night as well! The location is good, it’s very noisy at night though when your window is open, I’m not talking about a little noise from drunks but very very loud, it woke me up one night and I’m normally dead to the world. It sounded like there was an army marching down the road singing.

Booked online and the initial room provided no resemblance to hotel website. Was a complete pit, hardly a small window, damp... Moved rooms next day to a balcony room much nicer. Noisy though when the chavs leave the bars across the road at 5am. Rooms cleaned daily. Reception nice. Wouldn’t stay here again but only paid £260 for six nights so can’t grumble too much!
