“Honest review 1 week stay 5th October”

Stayed at this hotel for 7 nights All inclusive family of 4. Hotel location very good close to all the shops,bars,restaurants and the beach. Bus stop 5 min walk away to take you to places we used to get to portaventura. Hotel inside was very clean couldn't fault it. The outside wasn't the best with lazy people just leaving food lying around which then attracted the birds so the pool side has birds walking about and they poo everywhere 🙄 ( not hotels fault just lazy people) The food well all I can say is it was awful always stone cold now I am not a fussy eater but I found it hard to eat anything and I think I lived off pizza and chips when we did eat in.The food is more catered for the Spanish there was a tiny( british) section that had pizza chips pasta sometimes burgers( but watch as even they wasn't cooked properly) The snack bar was ok and served burgers,hotdogs,chips and toasties in the day which we preferred as the food in restaurant was the same every night. The rooms are small but didn't bother us as we only used for sleeping and was cleaned daily with fresh towels and beds made up. The pools are nothing like on the photo advertised the main pool is very small and at times would be cramped with people and warning the pools are FREEZING. There is a lods club but can't say what it is like as my boys are older so didn't go. The entertainment at night was awful 1 night was bingo 1 night was a man vs women there was 2 nights where they had singers in( not the best) and 1 night was just music playing from a speaker so I wouldn't rate the entertainment at all. The bar staff are friendly and juice is help yourself if you are All inclusive. Reception staff I found very rude we used the spa one day as it was cold outside my son cut his foot needed a plaster and she she refused to give me one said I would have to buy them at the shops when he cur his foot due to there spa. Wouldn't recommend the spa it was very dirty inside we only last 20mins and come out again. There is a charge for using this I can't remember what the cost was. I wouldn't stay here again just purely for the food and pools are too small.

Booked this hotel from 6th October for a week. Was told it was a 4 star hotel it’s more 3 star.Picture which shows a large pool at side of hotel deceiving 3 times smaller than it looks. We booked all inclusive, reception area clean tidy. When we arrived I had cut my finger on coach looking for seat belt and finger wouldn’t stop bleeding reception lady was very kind and dressed my finger for .Then we had to leave bags in a luggage room as we arrived around 11 am checking in wasn’t till 3 pm but got a room by 1.30 pm.We thought there wouldn’t be many kids in hotel because not kid’s holidays but we’re surprised when entering pool area kids flying around screaming jumping in all pools not really a adult pool.Bar staff always pleasant and helpful, during day they would serve toasties hot dogs chips and icecream at the snack bar .Only problem when it came to Wendsday staff told my husband he would have to pay for icecream which had been free the day before, he explained we wear all inclusive and they gave him 2 small pot icream which they serve at dinner. Dinners wear another matter sometimes ok sometimes really not allot of choice and dinner and tea staff have to get your drinks for you.Occasionally they would sit you at your table then they would send you in to find a table when there wasn’t a table available.Found restaurants staff most disorganised until last 2days of holiday when most people wear leaving as hotel shutting down at weekend.Have to say more a family hotel rather than a couples hotel.Entertainment hit or miss.Husband had to pay a euro when he wanted a larger because didn’t like one they served at pump.Spar worth a visit just a little on small side .Location good 10 minute walk to beach ,loads of food places pubs around if not liking food.Didn’t appreciate mr cockroache appearing in restaurant but staff soon stood on him and removed him .Can’t say it’s been my best holiday stay but you pay for what you get .Allso got bit like mad by flys so take some spray .
