We stayed at this sister hotel, across the road from the Da Vinci. Can't fault it. Clean and comfortable rooms and communal areas, nice pool, fantastic food (well worth upgrading to half board if you have the option), friendly staff who worked really hard to meet all your needs. Excellent location for a family, close to the beach and all amenities.

“Get what you pay for”

Still here in sunny Salou while England shivers. Hotel Been ok the apartment was nearly as expected. Lacking a kettle and a toaster which I'm sure was in pictures but probably not in the small print. We booked a one bed apartment but got a 2 bed the second bedroom with an on suite stank of mould or drains. Had to keep door shut to stop it smelling the rest of the place. Told reception day 2 who wrote in the diary and the fact I wanted a kettle. Neither query sorted. Today we was in room when cleaner arrived she walked into second bedroom came out coughing holding her nose. She got on phone. Man came up with something powerful in a bottle and went in room and on suite. Now apartment smells of bleach. All I can say if your room stinks tell the cleaner not the reception

Hotel was partly renovated. It is not a normal hotel and it seemed that some of the apartments were sold as holiday homes. During our stay one of two lifts was broken part of the time. Location of the hotel was really good, easy access to Llevante beach, restaurants, shops etc, just a few minute walk. We had one bedroom apartment with kitchen (2 adults and 2 kids) and it was clean and exactly as in the photos so no bad surprises on that one. We did not cook but saw that quite a few kitchen tools were available. One odd thing is that there are doorbells in front of the hotel rooms and they look like light switches and the doorbell and the light switches are right next to each other so people accidentally push the doorbells when wanting to put the lights on in the corridor so during some nights people could push the very loud doorbells and then of course waking up people. That was a bit annoying.. Pool area was actually better than I expected and it was very clean. It seemed that most people were Spanish and Russian during our stay. You could also use the sister hotel Da Vinci pool area and services we were told – it is across the street. Breakfast was partly ok and partly not (we had only breakfast at the hotel). Some of the items served at breakfast were not fresh and we stayed 9 days... Did not dare to dry sausages, eggs, bacon or tomatoes or cucumber, they were never fresh. Best part was the breakfast kitchen area where you could order omelets and crepes etc. That worked well and it was quite tasty and the person making them nice, Mohammed Greetings to him! Wifi at the hotel was not very good. Some of the staff was very friendly and some not. Greetings to Conchi at reception too who was really nice and helpful! In overall the staff could greet people with smile! The hotel is walking distance to PortAventura and by taxi about 8 euros. Worth a visit with kids (ours 7 and 11 years old). Hotel is a bit high priced compared to value.
