“Clean, modern, value for money studio apartment with a fantastic view”

This hotel is in an elevated position, we had a fantastic view, room 302, from the balcony. “Will come back”

Lovely and quiet. Staff are amazing. We stayed in 2 bed deluxe apartment. Everything we needed was in the apartment. Because not in the heart of salou it was quieter. Air con was good, ideal kitchen and we had yhe 2 shower rooms. I think the most important thing is the apartments. Pay extra if more… more

“DONT HAVE FOOD AT HOTEL. CHAOS AND UNORGANISED”

Staying at hotel cutrently. Excellent hotel and facility's but if you are having food at hotel it ruins it. Dinner is not great and cold even though we got in there at the start. After reading negative experiences we requested a higher floor in a quiet part of the hotel, in advance by email, and that’s what we got. The holiday with Jet2 included a sea view room. The location of the hotel was about a 5 to 7 minute walk from the nearest beach cove (with a beach bar and a couple of restaurants) The access was down a steep road from the hotel or along the cliff path which involved around 60 steps. It was five minutes walk further down that steep road to the beginning of the main promenade. There was a bus stop outside the hotel but it was temporarily not being used because of roadworks in the town. The nearest bus stop was about a six minute walk, also down a steep hill. Near the bus stop were a few cafes, bars and supermarkets. In front of the bus stop was a travel agency which sold a rechargeable Plana card, each bus trip cost one euro. From there you could also book day trips to Barcelona, Andorra and Montserrat and get information about nearby towns such as Cambrils and Tarragona. The check in process was smooth, I think it might have helped that we spoke Spanish. The receptionist, a young lady, had a laid back attitude and could have been more professional. We arrived at 9.30am and had to wait till 1am for our room, the hotel has a baggage room for storage. The studio apartment kitchen was basically equipped, we were on half board and didn’t actually do any cooking. There was a coffee machine with a few pods and a few teabags., toaster, microwave and kettle. The fridge was small with no freezer section. The balcony was a good size, the bathroom adequate with a walk in shower and separate toilet. The beds were ok for us but quite firm. There was also a sofa bed that slept 2 people. The room could be divided for sleeping by closing a heavy plastic concertina room divider. The TV had ITV, Channels 4 and 5 and obviously Spanish channels. We didn’t use the cleaning staff preferring to change towels etc when necessary. The maid was helpful. Generally the hotel was very clean. The dining areas were bright and modern. A jug of cold water was provided free of charge for the evening meal. The food was basic but acceptable, a fresh salad bar and fresh cut fruit were always available. Breakfast was also basic, there was a lady cooking omelettes, fried eggs or pancakes to order. If food was not hot enough there was a microwave. We didn’t use the pool but the area looked clean and there was a lifeguard on duty. We didn’t use the bar. There was a lady singing a couple of the nights we were there. There is also pool, a library and Playstation. We travelled on a quiet week, as a couple, and had no issues with noise or overcrowding. We would definitely recommend this hotel but for people with no mobility issues although mobility scooters etc could be hired from reception. Value for money for this holiday was exceptional.
