This hotel is perfectly fine I do not know where the bad reviews come from, in my opinion this is a 4 star not a 3 the cleaniness is amazing special mention to the cleaners, the staff were all lovely, food is fine not 4 star so maybe that's why but could always find something to eat. Yes there are big groups of lads a football tournament I think but they arnt any problem they might have a hour in the pool a day if that. Entertainment is iffy haha however the team work really hard put it this way they kept my 14 year old happy enough and anyone with a teenager knows that's a task in itself. I'd definitely recommend this hotel

Lovely clean hotel, Great seaview room. Staff friendly and efficient, drinks cheap. Did not stay in for entertainment Food good if a little repetitive. On some occasions could have been hotter. There are microwaves in the restaurant if you want it piping hot. We didn't like the fact that the hotel hosted school groups while we were there over the weekend for a football tournament. The kids were VERY noisy in the restaurant and pool areas. We realise that the hotel's aims are to make money, but accepting these kind of bookings could deter couples and families from staying and returning in the future. After all, we are the ones who spend most money at the bars so the hotel should bear this in mind. Room walls are quite thin and you can hear conversations if people speak too loudly. This was only a problem for short times during the day or I would have been knocking on the door! Thankfully the evenings were quiet and we slept well. We would return but avoid the school groups.

This hotel was promoted as a beach front hotel. It is not, it sits two roads back from the beach behind other hotels. The rooms are a good size and very clean but it’s the little touches that pull it down. No facilities for tea or coffee in the room, not even a bottle of water. A total lack of information in the room on facilities or activities within the hotel. The ‘entertainment’ was poor and somewhat amateurish. It appeared to be predominantly dependent upon Spanish tourists with very little English spoken in the bar or restaurant. The staff were lovely and the food was generally very good. The hotel did not permit guests to sign drinks or other purchases to the room which was frustrating constantly having to pay for each individual purchase straightaway. Generally this hotel is clean and efficiently run but is let down by the lack of the small touches that make a difference.

An average stay at best….. would we come back to playa park or Salou again..definitely not. Good points Hotel clean Room very nice and clean, had the sea view, definitely worth paying the extra for sea view. Close to the beach Plenty of sun beds, whatever time of day. Bad points Food was very hit and miss, often cold. Restaurant felt very manic, full and like a school canteen. Entertainment shockingly bad, possibly the worst we have seen, the animation team miming to songs while dancing is not really entertaining. Large groups of school children staying made it very noisy. The staff were very good with the exception of one young waiter called Luis who was very rude. After travelling all day we arrived at our room thirsty and tired to find no kettle/tea coffee making facilities and a fridge that was locked with a key. Another holiday maker who had arrived the day before said you have to pay 10€ deposit for a kettle and 25€ for a bag of assorted soft drinks and they will come and unlock the fridge! We checked with reception to find this was true you would also need to pay 10€ deposit for an iron. I would suggest the hotel should tell you this upon checking in or at the very least have an information sheet in the room.
