I was so worried about staying here after reading all the negative reviews well but I should not have worried at all. The hotel was absolutely great, staff were fantastic, clean and comfortable room, the shower was hot and steamy, the bed was comfortable too. Clean towels every day too. The theming of the hotel is just brilliant and access to the park is even better. The cards that you’re given give you access to the room but also the park, Booking breakfast and dinners was easy via the app only had one issue with the dine around but it was easily sorted. Fantastic stay would definitely come back.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Yes, it’s only half board, but if you intend to spend your time in the theme park this isn’t an issue, and the entrance is right next door! We will be back.

A lovely hotel, the room was of a decent size for myself, comfortable beds, well maintained and the bathroom was a brilliant size. I stayed for 3 nights in early October, so only a short stay, but it was an enjoyable one. The only small gripes I would have is that it's near impossible to get out of the hotel without a taxi/car first thing in the morning (pre-9am etc) as the gate that takes you down to the car-park/path to the main road is locked, not sure what time it is locked at night but I'm guessing around midnight. Obviously the park doesn't open until 10:30 which is a good cut through to get out of the resort down into Salou too. The food was OK, the restaurant can get very busy quickly, the selection isn't the best I've had, however what I did have was very tasty and well cooked, the pizza, fish and meat dishes were lovely, the desserts are fantastic, probably the best tasting I've had in any hotel EVER. You need to be careful when you leave your table to go up and get food or another plate though as they tend to clear your table, obviously accidently, but as a solo traveller it was hard to guard the table if that happened. The resort itself is very well maintained and cleaned, and gives a lovely western type feel. I think it's best for young couples or families, with the park only a 2 minute walk across the bridge. I would suggest to start queuing to get in to the park at before 10am though as the queues to get in can get 200/300 people long, that's if you want to get in quickly and start queuing for your first ride of the day. Would I go back again, yes. Although I'd probably give the PortAventura Hotel a go next time as its on the other side of the park with slightly better/easier access to Salou.
