“Lovely hotel beside beach”

2nd time at this hotel. Arrived around 11ish and room until 2pm but we expected this, reception staff very helpful and friendly. Suitcases were stored for us while we sat around the pool. 2nd time at this hotel. Arrived around 11ish and room until 2pm but we expected this, reception staff very helpful and friendly. Suitcases were stored for us while we sat around the pool. Hotel is clean and our room on 2nd floor 2097 with a balcony and seaview was lovely. Kettle in room supplied with 2 teabags, 2 sugars but no coffee. Fridge supplied so we bought extra teabags and milk in shop close by. Coffee was available to buy downstairs. Unfortunately there was a smell from drains in the bathroom which at times was overpowering tbh. Waiter service in bar and around pool was sadly never really greeted with friendly service or a smile tbh and lady waiter looked miserable most of the time. Bar food was nice. Variety of food in restaurant which was nice and staff quick to clear plates. We made use of the sauna and jacuzzi which was lovely. Entertainment 6 nights out of 7 we were there and it was a variety to suit all ages. Towels were not to be left on loungers unattended for more than 40 minutes otherwise would be removed but that was not the case. I noticed many empty loungers for hours and towels were never removed. Beach is just across the pavement and is stunning. It is a good hotel and a lot of older retired people stay here and I would go again. Service with a smile just needs improved in some areas.

Lovely hotel with beautiful beach on its doorstep! Food was very good and the majority of staff were good. We had a junior suite which was spacious. Bus stop right outside the hotel. Lovely hotel with beautiful beach on its doorstep! Food was very good and the majority of staff were good. We had a junior suite which was spacious. Bus stop right outside the hotel. We purchased a 10 euro bus card and could do 10 journeys which was great value. Cambrils Marina/town was a pleasant 30minute walk along the promenade. Only negative was the pool bar service was poor. Slow service and staff were quite rude. Would definitely return here 😃

At the hotel at the moment going home Saturday 15th June came in told to wait 2 hours for room as was in early but was checked in just had to get key at 2 no problem booked sea view room an got a direct view to pool and sea sitting on balcony as I am writing this room brilliant and spotless restaurant and reception staff brilliant and helpful and TUI rep good as well had small medical problem girl with glasses ordered me a taxi to the Hospitial which is free if you have your uk card with you just have to pay for medicine this week weather not so good but not hotels fault for that I would highly praise this hotel and staff l don’t know why any one would complain about this hotel right on the beach what more do you want Cambrils market is on on a Wednesday best way to get to it is walk along the the path till you get to to Cambris by the ferry’s you will se a weee train 3 euros if you oap and get off at market then get back on at 12 .20 or 1.30 pm train is at 11.am hourly till 7

Rooms are lovely. Beach is gorgeous. Rooms are lovely. Beach is gorgeous. Pool is nice looking and definitely for older adults, not youngsters wanting to jump in, play with balls, etc. Many of the sunbeds are available, but are in the shade under trees, not leaving many in the sun, but obviously the beach is a backup for this. When under the trees you have to dodge pigeon poop. My towel was soiled a few times. One female daytime bar staff was decidedly moody and unfriendly, all other staff were lovely. There’s plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner, although the dining area is bland in decor. Entertainment is very low key. We had a 2 year old with us who slipped around the pool and banged her head on the concrete. Tiles are loose and it’s slippery. The water is pretty cold but ok if you brave it. The hotel was a base for my family while we were in Spain for my daughter’s wedding in Mas Palou, Penedes and the staff were helpful arranging a taxi. overall the hotel was fine, clean, comfortable with a lovely beach, mainly full of older couples, but there is a small play area and gym and my family had a lovely relaxing time. Sangria from the bar is definitely worth it!!!!
