We have stayed at this hotel in June ,me ,my wife and our 2 children.The hotel from outside looks quite good the only issue was the parking.Is outside without any protection and you still have to pay for it.7 euros something to leave your car in a cooking summer sun.The reception was quite ok .We have not got any particular information because anyone hardly speaks any english but overall it was acceptable and not much a fuss about It.Apart from always when wanting something there was a queue all the times as only one person serving.The bedroom was quite decent and large when we entered and reasonably clean but in our stay of 5 days It was cleaned twice.Nor towels ,nor toiletries were replenished throughout our stay.But the main reason I am giving this establishment 4* its for its staff in Food and Beverage department.The bar even the lack of english is very noticiable but the intention to please us all the times was very refreshing.And then to mention the restaurant and specially its manager Yarrow.You could see his professionalism and passion for his job.The restaurant was always super full but him with his wit and charm and keeping always calm could handle the stress the way we have not seen before in this kind of establishment.And always had time for us in a very unintrusive and professional way.At the end of our stay we went to say good bye to him and to our astonishment when we offered him 50euros as a tip and he refused and told us that he doesnt work for tips but if we could leave a feedback about our stay that would be his reward.We would gladly be looked after by Yarrow and his team again.

“No 4 star experience”

Hotel is in a beautiful location just outside L’Ametlla de Mar’s centro urbano. Nice pool area. The hotel experience itself was average. There are mosquitos everywhere (inside e.g lifts, bar, lounge and also outside), so come prepared. The rooms need an overhaul. Furniture, doors, floor, equipmen… more

Hotel is in a beautiful location just outside L’Ametlla de Mar’s centro urbano. Nice pool area. The hotel experience itself was average. There are mosquitos everywhere (inside e.g lifts, bar, lounge and also outside), so come prepared. The rooms need an overhaul. Furniture, doors, floor, equipment (in our room) is way past the replacement date. Cleaning could be improved. Just look at e.g. entrance and elevators. Restaurant food is ok. Be aware that the restaurant is extremely busy and noisy in peak hours. All in all we will not repeat.

We were so disappointed ! the bedrooms looks old , shabby , no facilities offered in the room / the hotel was overcrowded , the dining room felt like a canteen & the food just basic cuisine nothing exciting ! And the pizzeria restaurant was the worse- The swimming pools are small and mostly packed - The entertainment is rather pathetic -

So many stupid rules around social distancing, which were hardly respected by anyone. Bread rolls had to be ordered for lunch and dinner, but you could pick them for breakfast. So many stupid rules around social distancing, which were hardly respected by anyone. Bread rolls had to be ordered for lunch and dinner, but you could pick them for breakfast. Water melon wasnt covered with plastic on the plates, but a banana was. You ordered a drink and signed using the waiters pen and paper...no gloves... Selection of food was poor. You could tell the food that wasnt eaten the day before was recooked for the following day. I missed the free cava and orange juice for breakfast. No hot water on day 1, no soap even after asking 4 times. They have no removed individual bars of soap due to COVID-19. WHO WILL I SHARE MY BARS OF SOAP WITH??? Staff not trained or aware of roles in the restaurant. All very confused with the rules and lacked even basic customer service skills. The activies were dull and not varied. My son did the archery and in 60min got to shoot twice...not impressed. COVID-19 has impacted everyone, but we have visited 6 times in the last 8yrs and this was the worst of the trips and to be honest it could have been managed better by the Hotel. After all my complaining above. The good points were that there were less people, so we didnt have to fight for pool chairs every morning.
