“Nice hotel but noisy at night”

The first impression of the hotel is really nice and clean. The reception is manned by 2 people and check in was not too slow. We arrived at 11 am and our room was ready which was a bonus. I had booked a room overlooking the pool and it was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom could do with space for toiletries etc, but had everything needed. The food is fine. If you find something you like it is well cooked. We chose this hotel as we used to go to Torremolinos years ago and wanted to re-visit restaurants we knew from before, so did eat out a few nights. The specialist restaurant was absolutely lovely however. The pool has plenty of sunbeds, but the parasols went really quickly. There was a queue every morning for the pool chain to come off, and if you weren't there you did not get a parasol! We could watch the evening entertainment from our veranda which was great. The noise from the pool late at night was a problem when we were there, as there was a group of girls who thought it was acceptable to scream and sing loudly after the bars were closed. One night it was till 2.30am, so if you like to sleep at night don't get a pool view room. The best part of this hotel was the staff and the little terrace bar. The baileys coffee is to die for! A good central hotel within reach of the trains to Malaga and the bus stops just across the road.

Right, so went with my Dad & Cousin (24, 40 & 61 yr old) with my cousin coming for 4 nights and me and my dad for 7 (all inclusive). First off, getting to and from airport is easy. About 20 euros & you can get taxi from reception in 5 mins and it is a guarentee of 20 euros if you book with them. Checking in was a bit of a farce as we arrived at 3pm and room still wasn't ready but I didn't really care. Food, it's just ok. I've had better I've had worse, it's just meh. Although Chinese across the road is cheap & amazing (highly recommend). italian you can book is just average too, just a little bit better meat dishes. Drinks, just your standard AI spirits/cocktails although they do have Cruzcampo & Amstell on. Also, they had this Cruzcampo lemon that is f***ing beautiful. Entertainment during the day was ok, we were mainly drinking & chilling so didn't really care. played a bit of waterpolo and that was it for us in the day haha. Entertainment at night is again meh, pepes bar is the only entertainment i liked from karaoke to singers/drag show was ok (plus pool tables are there) Now time for the actual negatives. Lifts were very very inconsistent. one lift got shut down for a couple of days and only one was working. Usually found that we'd eventually get in the lift but times could be waiting 10 mins (I know impatient). No entertainment in pepes bar on fridays? What is that about? Also, feel like it has to be said because people might want to know, if you do want to go out late late (past 1am) there's nowhere but gay bars to go to as it is a very rainbow location. Beach is ok, not a beach guy but 7 euros for a sunbed and bar across the road in which you can bring drinks over/food. takes about 15 mins in coach. Football lads, we went during the euros and they had most of the games on - if not easy 3 min walk into the centre of town anyway. All in all, was good. Enjoyed it as I find it hard not too (all I need is beer sun & a pool). People are friendly at this hotel so easy to mingle if you want. Again it's quite average but was an average price holiday so lived up to my expectations. Would I go again, probably not, not my ideal location and seems very limited as to what you can do but I also am the type to not get a train to Malaga for the day so it might be your type of holiday. It's not a bad hotel by any means just from my experience you can get more bang for your buck somewhere else.

“Reasonable”

Fairly good hotel, but wouldn't rate it as 4 star more 3. No exceptional different things to a 3 star. Rooms ok average. No kettle asked at reception and was brought one. Had pool view which was good. Gets busy round pool but plenty of beds. Entertainment reasonable family area outside and indoo... more

Fairly good hotel, but wouldn't rate it as 4 star more 3. No exceptional different things to a 3 star. Rooms ok average. No kettle asked at reception and was brought one. Had pool view which was good. Gets busy round pool but plenty of beds. Entertainment reasonable family area outside and indoor bar in reception area. Short walk to shops, longer walk to beach or use hotel shuttle bus. Food reasonable choice some repeated. A good relaxing hotel for fair price enjoyed

“It’s a NO from me”

I was not expecting to much as it was ja cheap 4 day break . I was pleasantly surprised by the front of the hotel and reception area . The lifts are so small and a few people got stuck on separate occasions with them breaking down . Are room was dated with very hard beds , I will add photos.... more

I was not expecting to much as it was ja cheap 4 day break . I was pleasantly surprised by the front of the hotel and reception area . The lifts are so small and a few people got stuck on separate occasions with them breaking down . Are room was dated with very hard beds , I will add photos. The pool area is awful very crowded and not a pleasant place to be . The roof terrace is a little better but is never cleaned and was a bit smelly on occasions . The fake grass up there is very hot so be careful. The food was okay, nothing to write home about . What saves this hotel is the free bus to the lovely beach , there is also a free snack bar that has lovely food and drinks . The staff are very friendly and helpful . I would not stay here again It’s just not my cup of tea .
