Hotel had everything you needed and the location is great! Lots of bars/ restaurants and cafes surrounding as-well as things to do. We hired a car and went off to explore Malaga and this was the perfect base. Breakfast was great - lots of choice and nice to be able to sit out by the pool. Gym and pool were both brilliant only comment would be that it would be nice for them to open earlier the gym doesn’t open until 8am. The room was so spacious with balcony and had everything you needed in it. Cleaners were so helpful and friendly. Really couldn’t fault the hotel and would definitely return.

“Fab mini break at Ocean House!”

Hubby & I enjoyed a mini 3 night break to Ocean House last weekend, minus the kids, we had such a fab time! We opted to get a taxi from the airport as the transfer was due to take 45mins & we would be the last drop off. The taxi had us there within 20mins & cost 22€. Check in wasn’t bad at all, the guy did try to push a few upgrades onto us which we politely declined. As we were only there for a few days we wouldn’t have gotten any extra benefits from the upgrades anyway, plus paying extra for the adults only rooftop pool seemed daft when it was all adults around the main pool anyway (I get in high season it would be different though). Our room was a suite (most basic of all the rooms) it was nice & big, the bathroom was a good size & storage was fine for us. I did move a table & chair over to the mirror for doing hair & make up. We had a side sea view & view of the hotel garden-lovely (no need to pay for that sea view!) We were floor 4 in the main building & even if we’d had the kids in tow I would still have been happy with the room. Definitely pleased we didn’t pay anything extra for a different type of room. Being November (& a week after the awful storms) we weren’t expecting amazing weather but we were pleasantly surprised at how sunny it was & we managed to sit on the loungers each day in our swimwear for a good 4-6hours just relaxing & watching the parakeets playing in the trees. We never had a problem getting a lounger but we could tell from the size of the hotel that in summer it would be tricky as there aren’t a great amount of beds around the two main pool areas. Hubby even ‘braved’ the big pool (far too cold for me!) & we both ended up in the smaller square main pool as it wasn’t actually that cold for getting in & once you were in it was fine. We opted for bed & breakfast so that we could enjoy the bars & restaurants of Benalmádena marina that was literally a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We did however enjoy the hotel cocktails on offer (not the cheapest but really good!) plus we had lunch at the pool bar-the food quality & portions sizes were fantastic & excellent value for money we thought. Breakfast in the restaurant was also super. So much choice & variety, not always the hottest but you expect that with buffet style. We even enjoyed a cheeky fizz with our brekkie each morning. The hotel is in such a good location for both Torremolinos & Benalmádena but as we were only there for a short while we stuck to the marina part, plenty of ‘lucky lucky’ men along the beach promenade though & lots of shops & bars/restaurants whichever way you went. We didn’t get involved with the daily entertainment or see the evening singers/bands so can’t comment on that but the hotel always seemed to have a nice, relaxed vibe about it & we definitely enjoyed our mini break. We enjoy visiting different places & hotels but Ocean House was definitely a hotel we will return to & we would happily recommend it to friends & family too. “Lovely holiday”

Just home after a nice family holiday at The Ocean House Torremolinos. The hotel was great, I’m in a wheelchair there was lots of ramps and lifts to get to everywhere I wanted to go, plus two hoists to get in the two pools if I had wanted to, but it was too cold for me. Just home after a nice family holiday at The Ocean House Torremolinos. The hotel was great, I’m in a wheelchair there was lots of ramps and lifts to get to everywhere I wanted to go, plus two hoists to get in the two pools if I had wanted to, but it was too cold for me. The staff were all lovely at the hotel but 3 of them stood out to me and going over and above to help me, Fernando in the reception got us settled every day he asked how we were doing. In the restaurant Belen and Fernando were excellent at their jobs. Lovely people. I will definitely try and return to The Ocean house hotel one day

“Nice place for an affordable out of season break!”

I visited out of season (December) and enjoyed my stay. Good location out of the busiest area but a short walk to many bars etc. Had a suite with sea view which was very spacious and lovely view, breakfast had lots of variety, bed comfy, the lobby bar was lovely and had live music most evenings, staff were also helpful and pool areas lovely. I also liked the luggage storage is only accessible by keycard (most places I’ve been it’s an unlocked room) so felt more secure. Only real annoyance was you can hear others toilets flushing because of the very loud cisterns in all of them. Fine in the day but loud enough to wake you at night. I can imagine in peak season with more rooms occupied this would be infuriating! Overall I’d stay again out of season.
