“Fantastic hotel.”

The reception is on 24/7 so great for security. The day and night staff are so friendly and helpful. We booked B&B and thought it was just a continental breakfast. “Great Location & Staff”

We stayed here for two weeks in July had balcony room on 3rd floor. Room very basic pity no fridge in room. Balcony was high difficult to sit and look out over it. The 'exterior' room 306 we had to the rear was very good, small balcony, large TV with all the UK channels, free safe, very good AC, bedding and towels changed daily, NO fridge, which is a shame as its always useful for water, milk, medicine etc, I was told we could store items in the kitchen fridge but that isnt practical if I need something at 3am. NO kettle but you can loan one free from reception....why not just supply it in the room automatically along with a small table to make a coffee if required, there is room for a fridge and a small table for the kettle so I find it strange they arent provided. The bathroom is ok but perhaps in need of new silicone here and there, the shower mousse is poor quality though so dont rely on the free products, a hook on the door and a couple of shelves would also be beneficial. Another thing that is VERY annoying at all hotels (this one included) is the lack of hangers in the wardrobe, there were 6 for 2 people who were there for a week, I always take a 10 pack with me and leave them behind but its a simple inexpensive fix for the hotel to do along with the hooks and shelves. The pool is more for a dip than a swim, it is approx 4mx2mx1.2m deep, plenty of sunbeds on the roof which look new and are comfortable, never a problem getting one either as there was no more than about 8 people up there when we we there, NO bar at the pool either - WHY ? its 30+ degrees and again there is room for one, the bar sales would surely pay towards the waiters wages. NO bar in the hotel but several within 30 metres of the front door. Breakfast is very good, plenty of choice for everyone although the hot plate could do with being turned up as the hot food was only luke warm. The hotel is very clean and tidy and all the staff are polite and professional. It may sound as if I am being harsh, I'm just being honest, its the small details that make all the difference and nothing I have suggested for improvement is overly expensive and I would certainly highly recommend staying here and would do so again without hesitation. Nerja is lovely, lots of little narrow streets, bars and restaurants everywhere with lots of italian and indian for some reason and all the menus are virtually the same except for the font ! I would recommend getting the bus up to Frigiliani for half a day (market day isThursday, its only small but very cheap) and the bus is 1.30 each way and takes 15 minutes, Frigiliani is beautiful with lots of steps. Torrox is only small and a bit of a one horse town, Torrox Costa is a long beach with all the usual bars and shops along the sea front.
