I cannot understand why anyone could give this complex a poor review. It is definitely one of the best holiday accommodations we have stayed in. Great apartment with super wifi and all necessary kitchen, bathroom and bedroom facilities. Air conditioning in all rooms and great sea view from the balcony. Washing machine , Dish Washer, Cooker /Micro Wave and everything you need for a home from home feeling. Excellent cleanliness throughout and nice walkways around the complex. First class swimming pools where you pay 7 euros for two sunbeds. The sun beds are not released until the money is paid and this puts a stop to empty beds with towels on for absent bathers. Good management around the pools and excellent friendly staff in all areas. The Cave bar ( El Cueva ) is a welcome addition here also. Serving good simple food and great beers. The staff here are also exceptional and customer comfort and enjoyment is their aim. A walk downhill to the main beach in Nerja and uphill for 25 minutes on the way back but worth the effort. Bus for 1 euro every hour to Nerja centre on Romano Avenue in the midst of the complex. If I have forgotten anything it is because there are too many nice things to say about this booking. Would I return? To stay at this complex yes but not overly impressed by Nerja.

“Great town, nice views”
Place was very nice, great views, top level patio. Nerja had a great NYE celebration which was fun to attend to at Plaza Europa. You'll need a car to get around. We had problems finding EV charging stations but the map we used may have been out of date.

We came here on our first family holiday with children and my mum. Nerja is 45 mins by transfer from Malaga airport and we had an excellent transfer arranged with fantastic coach service. Weather was hot, between 27 and 30 degrees with one day overcast. We stayed in Capuchino apartments a short walk from the Kanema bar and the The Pool Bar where access to the pool was. There were 13 of us and we had three apartments. One was fairly updated and modern, one rustic and very nice and the third one was dated and poor, I say poor as the beds were awful. There was a fold out bed for an 11 year old that was not fit for purpose and two other single beds also awful. Air conditioning was dated and needs review. All beds in the rest were average with toppers over the mattress which were basic. The apartments were clean, with all mod cons and great views. Unfortunately we did not read reviews before booking and they were quite high up with only stairs for access which was not good if you had reduced mobility or any breathing difficulties like my mum. Believe it or not the altitude and the steps are not an ideal situation for those with reduced lung capacity, asthma or any mobility issues. This is something to be very mindful, especially with older people or small kids and buggies. A couple of trips up and down in a day was heavy going. Nerja is hilly and everywhere is uphill it seems altho so beautiful and people were kind and friendly. Bus service goes every hour to Nerja centro for one euro per person, leaving at 20 past the hour opposite Kanema bar Or the supermarket. Small supermarket here with lovely staff and basic requirements which was fine but it was easier to eat out everyday we had breakfast and lunch the The Pool bar and it was fresh, tasty and lovely staff always kind and so helpful. Taxis are reasonable at about 8e per trip into the centre, the weekend is impossible to get one. Get the bus or be prepared to wait an hour or more. Burriana beach is close by and Nerja caves also to arrange a trip there. Or one hour from Malaga also I will attach photos to give you an idea of steps etc and hills but despite all that I would come back and stay closer to the centre unfortunately if with kids and my mum. It's a lovely place where alot of Spanish holiday themselves and restaurants and bars are busy but really nice and good prices. A very relaxed vibe, beautiful authentic buildings and friendly people.
