“GIRLS HOLIDAY”
Have to say cannot fault this place, very clean and well equipped. Staff very friendly and helpful in particular (Reiuz) i think is how his name was spelt on reception. Will definatley recommend to family and friends and hope to return again for a holiday.

You "have to" drive everywhee but it's OK since the parking is very nicely situated close to the villas and there are free spots downtown if you're OK to circle around a bit. The vulla had all the amenities and is occupied by some swedes otherwise so everything's kept up although a bit old. The downsides are the pool which is not just outside (you gotta walk a bit depending on which villa you're in) and the fast that the receprion has a siesta even though it' supposed to be open all the time.

“good place to relax in the winter”

We were given appartment 17b and we can say it's big and it had everything we needed. It was also very clean and that's easy to tell when you have two allergics to dust in the family and nobody sneezed at all during our time there!! The lady at the reception desk was nice and willing to answer our questions about Nerja. We called before arriving because we were going to get to Nerja almost at the office's closing time and she very kindly volunteered to wait for us and give us the key. The beach and the center of Nerja can be reached on foot but we thought it was better to go by car since on the way back home, we would have to go uphill and that would be exhausting. So I can recommend this place and I would make a reservation here again if I ever return.

Reception were very helpful throughout our stay. Very good value indeed.

We stayed here for 9 days. The El Capistrano is three different complex’s. We stayed in the El Capistrano Village. The place is very big. We were left keys at the nearby hotel as we arrived very late. It took us about a hour to find our apartment , this is because the map we was given was so small we could not see anything in the darkness. The apartments do not go in any number order and the number on your key will not be the number of your apartment. We had key 108 and our apartment was 22..Lucky we found a family with a young boy whose eyes were strong enough to see our tiny map. Our apartment was okay but very old fashioned. The bedroom had no windows to the outside, very hard mattress. Our neighbours were very noisy talking loudly on their balconies sometimes till 4am. El Capistrano is not really in Nerja because it takes half and hour to walk to the centre and walking back is up a hill all the way. Or get a taxi which cost around 8 euro. The pool areas are okay but you have to pay 30 euro deposit and they chucked everyone out of the pool area at 6pm which is far to early. The sunbeds around the pool are 3 Euro each. The restaurant has good food with friendly staff. The cave bar has a moody bar man. There is two very good supermarket nearby. Really would not recommend this place.
