Great location beach is just outside the front door bars and pubs are everywhere Breakfast is buffet style - quality was not to my liking but outside are so many places offering full English 5-10€ with proper sausages bacon eggs hash etc etc Sky Bar on the 10th floor is a lovely bonus Lockers are available for those who want to lock their golf clubs away for 1€ a day Safe in your room is 4€ daily never had to Pay for that before elsewhere There is a fridge in your room and decent air con We had side view of beach not worried we were never in Yes the toilet and sink is weird ….the sink is next to your bed and the toilet everyone can see your feet and neck - very weird Room could have been bigger but it’s ok Probably won’t come back as breakfast poor toilet weird paying for your safe and size of room - doesn’t mean it’s bad I would just look around to see if there is better

“October stay”

Hotel situated with sea views. Room walls thin. Breakfast good. Evening meal was edible but same food most nights. Bar prices high. Go to local bars 2 for 1. Train and bus station 5 min walk. Train very good value . Visit torremolinos and benelmadena

We had a fabulous holiday in Fuengirola a beautiful coast. We stayed here as mum and daughter after my daughter had arranged for my birthday. Prior to going we had attempted to contact the hotel several times via email to attempt to upgrade to a suite as had read comments re size of room and bathroom. Eventually got them on the phone and informed would need to wait till we arrived. On arrival reception staff were friendly and nice and we managed to get an upgrade for 20euros a night which we were happy with. However, they contacted us the next evening to tell us they had made a mistake and we would need to move, which we refused to do. Can hire a safe for 4 euros a day. Wifi is good and free. The rooms: We had a bedroom and living/sofa bed area. Apartments are basic but quite sparse. The bed was huge but very uncomfortable and the sofa bed squeaked every time you moved. Pillow are also very uncomfortable. The bathroom was functional and a good size but are outdated. Towels are renewed daily but they are thin and not best quality. As you enter the room there is a large mirror (only one except from the bathroom) which is in front of you as soon as you open the door which is odd. The mirror has no sockets or anything around it and you need to get round the door and into the room to find the socket to put your card in to get electricity so you can be fumbling around in the dark a bit, We had a sea view room with 2 small balconies which were nice but they were not brushed or cleaned once in the five days we were there. We had a late flight home and did manage to keep our room on for a cost for a few hours which was good. Location: Best thing about the hotel is the location, close to everything including restaurants, beach, bus station, etc. Pool/Skybar Sun loungers were fine to get and very comfortable. Views are amazing. Pool bar prices are much more expensive than outside - Club Sandwich with some (stale) crisps at the side 16 Euro and a pint of San Miguel 6 euro. The bar area can get busy as non residents can use it but the views are amazing. Staff watch for anyone with own food or drink on loungers, they are strict and not the most pleasant. We saw them shouting at grown men for jumping in the pool (thought this was what is was for) as it may splash people at the bar! Also seen them giving people a row who moved their sunbed and this is just not allowed and they make sure you know! Had a drink at the sky bar at night and it is good for sunset but as mentioned pricey.
