“Good hotel”

The pillow s wasn't comfy and the food could have been warmer and better variety the guy was the best helpful on the reception at nights I didn't get his name excellent for the beach location and not far away from funegirola and bus stop near by and train station in los baliches

Have stayed here on 2 prev occasions , and booked here for a 3 week stay for my husband’s birthday, with 2 friends joining us tomorrow for our remaining 2 weeks. Have stayed here on 2 prev occasions , and booked here for a 3 week stay for my husband’s birthday, with 2 friends joining us tomorrow for our remaining 2 weeks. Arrived on 17th booked in quite easily , only 3 people ahead of us , and we have a room on 7th floor overlooking pool with a partial sea view, the balcony is quite a sun trap after 11 on a morning Room basic, but beds are comfortable, bathroom has nice large shower ., this is the first hotel of many that I have stayed in, in Europe where I have had to pay for the fridge ? The choice and quality of food for both breakfast and dinner is excellent The quality of food at the pool bar is also very good, but the prices of both food and drink I think is quite high , compared to the many bars and cafes along the sea front All the staff, cleaning , reception and restaurant are very friendly

“November break ”

2nd time to the Angela .First time a week before lockdown. Breakfast the bedt meal of the day .Night time not as good food. But location is spot on . Nice and flat for walking .Staff all friendly.could di with the outdoor pool being heated .but once in you got used to it ..rooms ok.

As usual I'll get the moans out of the way first, the food, breakfast is nice with a selection of cooked or cereals, but I'm afraid when it comes to dinner, whilst the food isn't bad it can be mayonnaise heavy and the fish can be hit and miss, they have 'happy hour' between 2000-2200 where you gat 2-4-1 and the queues for the bar are a joke, but as the drinks outside those hours are expensive I can see why people queue for a drink and stock up for the night. Entertainment is good if you can get a seat, it seems to be geared for the older clientele with the choice of acts, the hotel itself is very clean, staff are friendly and attentive and the rooms are kept clean, beds are comfy but the Jabega side of the hotel can get noisy from the bar below. Ideal position for going out and about along the front.

Many good points spoiled by simple things that should be right. The internet, I'm on floor 8, it is miss more miss than hit. Rang reception who said it same throughout hotel, no it's not it's very good on ground floor. Sat round the pool, average age 68 ish the music is for 18 year olds. I'm half way through my one week stay, spent about 8 hours round the pool, not heard a song I know. The reviews on here many comments about cold food, again simple thing you'd think they would have sorted they haven't. The happy hour 8 pm to 9 pm. Long queues with one very hard working man behind bar. Nice clean hotel just spoiled by points I've mentioned.
