We had a fabulous stay. This hotel is so clean. We had clean sheets and towels every day. Twin room ,comfortable beds. Very private balcony and looked onto the sea and pool. Restaurant offered a wide range of food. The gardens and pool area cater for everyone. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. We will definitely love to come here again. “Great 4 day break”

So we booked this for my mums 70th birthday with family and friends and we wasn't disappointed even after reading a lot of the negative reviews. The hotel is immaculate and the staff are so friendly. It's in a fantastic location and within walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. Although the rooms are dated they were always immaculate and fresh towels daily. Unfortunately we was on the 10th floor , 2 rooms next door to each other and seemed to have smaller balconies than the lower levels. Which was a shame as there was 5 of us so couldn't all sit out there. The lifts are a nightmare they never seemed to go as far as level 10 so was forever getting out at number 9 and walking up. If we wasn't on the highest floor I would of walked it all. If I was here a week I would of definitely asked if we could change floors. But for 4 days we just dealt with it. The drinks were ok nothing special, very limited for all inclusive. Iced coffees and branded drinks you did have to pay for by card only. The food was nice again nothing special it was very basic and very repetitive but you could always get something fairly edible. I would say the desserts are a big let down everything was like gelatine and not they greatest. Overall we would all stay at this hotel again as there are lots of lovely restaurants close by and a fab bakery round the corner. It really was so clean everywhere and we always got a sunbed. The animation team were fantastic always so much energy and laughter.

Due to the inflated prices of holidays this year we couldn't afford our usual 4 star hotel when paying for our holiday. We settled on Globales Gardenia. All I can say is that we were very pleasantly surprised at how lovely this hotel was. The room was spacious and comfortable with daily maid service. Kept clean to a very high standard. Our balcony was very large from which you could view the sea and all of the outside area of the hotel. The daytime entertainers were extremely friendly and enthusiastic, always setting up games for those who enjoyed taking part. There were various places where you could sunbathe. You could always find loungers at the pool or at the adults section overlooking the pool. You also had two places where you could look on to the sea on a lounger placed on a lovely grassy area or a nice quiet grassy area which got more shade. You can walk out of the hotel into the street via a coded gate and have a stroll along the beachfront which is immediately in front of the hotel. Fuengirola is such a relaxed resort with no touts trying to get you to go into their restaurants or bars. The only criticisms I have of the hotel is the entertainment at night is dreadful and the restaurant's variety of meats is very limited. The food is nearly always the same and not of the highest quality. The desserts seem to be avoided by most of the diners which should send out a clear message to the management. This is by far and away the best 3 start hotel I have ever stayed in and would highly recommend it but would say that if you want good food every day then don't go all inclusive. If happy to just make do and take advantage of the free alcohol then this is the place to book.

Food in main restaurant is okay but could do with catering for children. Snack bar is the best thing about it but they make the same thing all the time. If you all inclusive. The ice lolly’s you had to pay for because not included in the all inclusive, all they could have is the small ice creams which a nice. As for sun beds. You had to get up early to get any because people would put towels down early morning. As for the entertainment hall everything for all age. The bar you could only get two coca-Colas per person. And it’s a cash free hotel. So you need to use your card, if buying anything like ice lolly etc……. The kids got to get out of the pool when they playing water polo cause they can be rough.
