This hotel has everything, so clean, food very good, beds and rooms excellent, I would recommend it to anyone. We had a great week, 4 ladies of a certain age. However, I would point out, that where it is situated is in an area full of very nice villas; it does have its own beach but there is no promenade at all so there is no-where to walk, say on an evening. If you wish to go anywhere, unless it is by taxi or hire car, you are stuck unless you can walk at least half a mile to the main road, which is a 3 lane A road. The Rep did not mention the distance when she said we could get a bus either way to Estapona or Puerto Banus "at the top of the road by the blue bridge". Please consider this if you are thinking of booking. No promenade if you can walk and not for guests with walking problems due to position.

What a lovely gem of a hotel albeit a bit remote. To get to anywhere you need to walk up a drive, around 20 min walk. If going on excursion to Gibraltar you then need to cross the foot bridge. You also cross this bridge to catch bus into Estepona. On this side is the bus to Marbella. There are a few shops and a supermarket at the top too. Anyway, I digress, the hotel is immaculately clean, the staff very helpful and courteous. The pools are not open till 11 am and there are plenty of Sunbeds which are all on grass. Pool bar serves lovely drinks. Try the sangria made from scratch and is very refreshing. Although the hotel is huge you never felt like you were surrounded by people. The room was very clean and spacious. Now to the food, it was what I would expect from a four star. We enjoyed the food although sometimes it was cool or no name to what is on offer, having said that it was tasty with plenty on offer. Reception staff are very informative and a big thank you to customer relations lady who tried very hard to sort a problem out. One tip, try lunch early, we once went at 2.45 and it was deafening inside the restaurant. The wines are lovely and come out of a bottle rather than a tap. Indoor bar area very spacious and comfy. Entertainment started late 10 pm.
