We have just returned from a wonderful 2 weeks at Playa Andaluza having exchanged through Interval International - although we actually started our journey with MVCI 17 years ago at the same resort. Due to the vagaries of booking through Interval we had 2 separate bookings -the first week in a studio apartment and the second week in a 2 bedroom villa. This meant that we had to change accommodation at the end of week 1 (which we knew about in advance) and, in the end, the move between the two units took no more than 1 hour as we were able to have access to the "new" unit coinciding with the 10 o'clock check out time. Thanks to staff who were able to facilitate this. In summary - and many reviews have made similar comments - the whole resort is maintained to a very high standard and the staff were, without exception, FANTASTIC. At all times we were greeted with courtesy, friendliness and total professionalism. Help from the Concierge service was greatly appreciated in planning bus trips to Puerto Banus and Estepona. We only ate in the resort a couple of times but the fish we chose from the bbq on our first night was excellent. There are also a number of decent restaurants no more than a 10 minute walk away. The Market Place is pretty well stocked with a good range of basic items - yes, it is more expensive than Aldi (5 minutes walk) but you will always pay a premium for convenience, anywhere in the world. We encountered no problems during our 2 week stay. We would happily return to Playa Andaluza - thanks to everyone who enabled us to enjoy a very relaxing holiday. Adrian and Helen

The most amazing hotel and staff. We were greeted by Laura at the front desk who was extremely friendly and informative . From there our stay just got better and better . Our first days lunch and evening meal were so delicious we were tempted never to leave the resort! The staff could not have been friendlier , I’ve never experienced such attentive housekeeping service and everything g about the hotel was welcoming, friendly and beautiful apart from the beach - which was not very appealing . Saying that , the hotel pool choice was so lovely we don’t feel like we have missed out, and the view of the ocean from our room is stunning. All of front deck, pool bar and guest service staff felt more like old friends. We will definitely be back

This place is an ideal family destination; we had a 4 night break and stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. Modern suite, good size kitchen, with laundry room. 2 bathrooms. Amazingly comfy beds. Daily housekeeping. Parking easy in the underground car parks at the resort. Beautiful pool, indoor and outdoor, very clean public areas. We ate in the restaurant for 2 nights and also had the buffet breakfast one day. Delicious food, reasonably priced. Friendly staff. We also ate at 2 local restaurants within walking distance. Great food. Recommended by Marriott As all apartments have kitchens, Aldi is within walking distance to get essential supplies. The Market place on site has anything you may run out of, including fresh bread and pastries. Got a swimming costume as I'd forgotten to bring more than one! The resort has access to the beach, Beware sharp blades of grass looking through the sand, best to wear sliders. Beautiful sunsets. Central location for Puerto Banus, Estepona. Happy hour everyday by the pool. Also lots of activities organised daily by Marriott. We took part in aqua aerobics in the indoor pool - great fun! All in all, a great resort, cannot fault it!

Wonderful location and facility. Had a great time visiting this area of Spain. You definitely need a car to really take advantage. We were out each day and night and have to thank their head concierge, Tomasso that customized each day for us and set up reservations at authentic restaurants and directed us to special small towns and truly made our visit so wonderful.
