Another fantastic stay at this hotel, staff and management are polite friendly and always accommodating to requests, hotel itself is attractive, with some beautiful Mountain View’s, staff work hard to keep the whole hotel clean and inviting, rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped with fridge, huge comfortable bed, and sofa bed in lounge is also VERY comfortable. Food is good, a nice selection, breakfast was included in our price and my hubby enjoyed the freshly cooked omelettes, we ate in the hotel a couple of nights and thought there was a good choice and good quality of food for a very reasonable price. The hotel has a gym and a beautiful spa which we used on this trip I had reflexology and massage which was heaven, therapist was excellent with good knowledge and gave me some helpful tips and advice. The hotel is situated in a good location with supermarkets, shops and restaurants a 5 min drive away (15/20 mins on foot). San Pedro is no more than a 10 min drive with a beautiful beach and sea front strip with some lovely restaurants and bars. I would say it’s easier if you have a car but Ubers/taxis are also easy to book and not over priced. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Summer holiday”
Hotel is lovely, and staff are both friendly and welcoming. Not sure where the negative reviews came from. We stayed for a week in total, and were only sorry we hadn't booked for longer. We would happily book again, pool area and pool itself is super. Look forward to our next visit.

We had read A LOT of bad reviews but we were pleasantly surprised with our stay! I travelled with a friend and the rooms were big and spacious as well as very clean and comfortable! The ac was amazing in the rooms and cooled the rooms very well which is nice when you have been in the heat all day! The bed was very big and there was more than enough room for two people but there was also a big sofa as well as a pull out bed under the sofa. The tv was a bit old and only in Spanish but it wasn’t that big of a deal. The bathroom was very big and nice and clean! There was a bidet and the shower/bath was amazing, it also had very good water pressure! It was very easy to find the room, the staff were very helpful and even showed on a map how to get to the room and they had good English! The hotel itself is also very nice and the breakfast was delicious! A wide variety to choose from and sometimes they would add new things like muffins or donuts which was nice :) we never tried lunch or dinner so we can’t speak on that but from the looks of it, it looked nice! There was even a chef that would make you an omelette how you liked it which was very nice 👍 The pool was big, nice, and clean and some days there were even dance activities in the pool! There is a bar close to the pool which is nice and they made good and refreshing drinks which was perfect when you’ve been tanning or in the pool in the heat🙂↕️ The only downside of this hotel however, is the location we would say. The nearest Mercadona and Lidl are 20 minutes away on foot and the hotel is up on a hill so you kind of have to climb back up the hill on your way back which was incredibly annoying. The hotel is also not at all in the heart of Estepona it’s about a 15-20 minute ride away by car to Estepona and it’s about a 30-40 minute walk to the beach! There is not much at all by the hotel or even in the entire area (Bel-Air) except for houses and some small restaurants so we spent the majority of our stay in Marbella or puerto Banús which are 15-20 minutes away by car. The hotel did have e-bikes to rent though but we were unsure of the prices. I would strongly recommend this hotel to someone that has access to a car so that they could drive anywhere they wanted otherwise you would have to take uber or taxi everywhere like we did which really ate up our money lol but I believe this hotel is perfect for families or anyone that has access to a car due to there not being much at all next to the hotel and because everything is pretty far away! The only other downside apart from the location is the fact that about 3-5 days in, our keycards would randomly stop working and we could not get into the room or the safe! So we would have to walk back to reception and get new ones, this was okay at first but sometimes it would happen 2 or more times a day, everyday so it would get annoying when we for example have just climbed up a hill for 20 minutes in 25°C weather only to not be able to get into our room so we have to go back to reception and get new ones lmfao this was an easy fix however so I would not discourage someone to stay there just because of this little problem lol Other than that we were very satisfied with our stay, I just wished that they would have been more honest about the location of the hotel! 4/5

We are currently on our last evening here at Oh Nice Caledonia before leaving for home in the morning. British guests. We got our deal via StayForLong, also read horror stories, but the price was fantastic for 8 nights, nothing went wrong at all. The stay was great. When we arrived, staff were friendly. Not all fluent but between us it wasn’t a problem. We got to choose which floor our room was on, which was ideal for pool access. The hotel seems to be less busy on the first few days of the week and then gets busy during the weekends. Very popular with families from all across Europe and even Morocco. We had a breakfast included deal, not the biggest range available, especially for plant based guests, but there’s sufficient available including alternative milks etc. Vegetarian options is probably where they have room for improvement. We paid for dinner one night, around 70 euro for 4, and it was just a buffet style. Go out for food somewhere else, it’s not bad by any means at the hotel, it’s just nothing special which you might want from a holiday and it’d cost about the same. Buffet dinner is even worse if you’re vegetarian also. Rooms are nice, cleaners are in during breakfast time to provide new towels and bedding, so the rooms have good upkeep daily. A standard room with two beds and a sofa bed is not enough for two adults and two kids, but we managed, take this into consideration if you’re booking for four, next time I’d get a two room booking. Rooms are also air conditioned, we left both of ours on and it was a godsend coming to cool off in the room after a long day. No problem with sleeping in heat either. The only real criticism and I’m not sure why it was happening was my key card for the room stopped working three times. Not a deal breaker but it did become annoying having to walk up to reception soaked from the pool several times. I think it’s quite common as they weren’t phased upon presenting the broken card each time. In terms of facilities at the hotel, indoor pool and gym is great, outdoor pool is great. They have events for kids and guests but it’s quite repetitive, not the kind of hotel I’d stay at if I wasn’t intending to leave the premises. Pool was open from 10-8, as was the pool bar. Pool bar wasn’t expensive, average. Rooms are close enough that you should just buy your own alchohol and use the hotels plastic cups they provide, you’d save yourself a lot of money. Directly around the hotel, there isn’t much, twenty minute walk will get you down to the beach, but there isn’t much there other than more expensive hotels and their beach bars. Cancelada is the main town just west of the hotel, some nice restaurants there that wouldn’t cost too much in a taxi, but not a beachfront town. My recommendation would be to hire a car for this hotel, much better is Marbella and Estapona for food and things to do. These are probably a bit too far to be economical with purely taxis. Do some research on day trips before coming as you do feel a little “in between” places at this hotel. A ten minute walk gets you to a Lidl and Mercadona where you can stock up your rooms fridge, the information says no cooking facilities in the room, but our basic room was equipped with two hobs and a microwave including lots of cups and dishes to use. We’d recommend Estapona, a lovely town to drive to with delicious food, Selwo adventura which is a safari park close by, good for kids. Marbella port is close but very busy and popular. We also drove to Ronda which was a real highlight, amazing city. I think that covers most of the experience. For what it’s worth, you can get great deals on a week at this hotel and I’d say it’s more than worth it for the price. I’d definitely come again on that basis. A nice family friendly hotel.

Pleasantly surprised. We had read alot of bad reviews so it was a bit daunting but we've stayed here for 4 nights as a couple with friends, as we're here for a wedding. The rooms are nice and spacious, big bathroom, kitchen facilities, large wardrobes with mirrors and AC, and a sitting lounge area. There is a good gym and spa. The WIFI is good. The water pressure in the shower is very strong. The downside - The food is not good at all, hence the dropped star but we figured that out on the first night and stopped eating at the hotel. If you plan to come and stay here your whole trip without exploring just be aware the food is below average. Otherwise it might be better to hire a car to go to different places as we did.
