Stayed at the TUI Blue Riviera Hotel again- repeat customer, all staff are friendly and go out of their way to help. Hotel was clean and tidy. We took part in the wine tasting and cocktail making, both excellently run by TUI Blue (Gary) and hotel bar staff. The restaurant Culinarium was excellent as always, although we were disappointed to hear that Esperanza had left. We will be returning again.

“Great but could be excellent”

Went with my partner. First time at an adults only and we are young for our age 48 and 55 and very active (personal trainer with a runner partner). What we liked. Cleanliness of room and hotel. Reception area was impressive with its art gallery. Food was excellent although my vegan partner had no options for breakfast and desert really. Which is extremely poor given that most basic pubs will offer more than fruit and sorbet these days so I would hope that could be improved. Pool area was lovely but we only used it once as it was always so busy. Not enough loungers for the size of hotel. Lift access to the private entrance to the beach was a nice touch. Staff were always lovely and helpful. We never really had an issue with creaky floors etc that some have reported so can’t comment on that. I would agree that the wardrobes could offer more space. Evening entertainment was a big buttons standard for us and we expected a bit more upmarket than karaoke style singers. (But this is just personal taste and as the majority of visitors were retirement age that may be fine for them). Jacuzzi was a nice touch. The “gym” area was a disaster. As tow active people that want to train whilst away we were very disappointed and will look for a short term gym membership in the area if we return. The space was clearly an afterthought. A worn out multi gym machine, a few dumbbells rather useless incline neck press station and some squeaky treadmills. The room was dark and dingy with no music etc to motivate. I could easily kit it out for less than 5k and make it awesome. Which is all the more disappointing considering how many people actually came in whilst we attempted a workout but seemed to have the same thoughts as us. I think that is purely down to the fact that you assume adult only means people that don’t find exercise important. Overall a great location with great staff but for the price I would expect excellent. It’s realistically what I would call a 3.5 / 3.75 level hotel but could easily be 4.5 / 5 with a little TOC

Our 3rd trip over new year here. We are seriously considering having a change next year. On first appearance of the hotel. It looks nice. The rooms are in desperate need of a revamp. The bathroom taps are in all scratched, and worn. The shower has seen better days. The bed is comfy and big. The room itself is cleaned every day, very well. The floor creaks alot. Tui I do think it's time this hotel had a makeover. They were painting it on the outside while we were there. The sunloungers have been painted. YES! PAINTED! which have seen better days. The food is average, nothing exceptional. The entertainment is o.k could be better. The best triton has just been finished having a refurb. Which is only a few yards away on the same side. It looks lovely and very modern. We had a look in it. It's one to consider in the future.
