Just returned from a week at Alba with EasyJet. Myself, daughter and granddaughter. We had two rooms on the second floor close to restaurant with a pool view and part sea. Rooms were comfortable and clean with excellent aircon. I read someone had complained about lack of sockets. I had two either side of the bed, two more on the table and one in bathroom so quite adequate for me but obviously some rooms may be different. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly everyday and towels changed if you left them on floor. We both had a good sized balcony. As we were with a toddler we went half board. Food both at breakfast and dinner/lunch were very good with lots of choice even Yorkshire puddings if that's your thing. The bacon was the normal type you get abroad but the sausages very much like home. The pool area was clean as was the whole hotel. The staff are constantly on the go and I couldn't fault them. The main bar has a happy hour 20.00 to 21.00 when it's 2-1. The gins were very good and clearly triples which would explain the odd bad head. The entertainment was ok but not really for me but my grandaughter enjoyed it. All in all we had a good stay at the Alba and if in Benalmadena would stay again. The only downside was on the night of San Juan festival some **** pickpocketed my daughters bag and stole her purse with 90 euros. Obviously not the fault of the hotel but worth mentioning as a warning to others.

“Good holiday ”

We stayed here from the 15th of June.We had room 706 on the top floor next to the lift. We could see the sea. We were half board and could change the night time food for dinner time. That's was good. We stayed here from the 15th of June.We had room 706 on the top floor next to the lift. We could see the sea. We were half board and could change the night time food for dinner time. That's was good. Room small abit old fashioned but was clean. Room cleaned everyday. English channels on the TV. Balcony could do with a clothes arier on. So I brought a washing line. To upgrade room to get a fridge it was 15 euros per day. We didn't bother I took a mini fridge and kettle. Wifi free. Room had aircon. Food was fine I always found something. Pool area opened at 9am and pool was 11am. Sunloungers abit uncomfortable.No tables to put your drinks on and they just lay flat. Sun loungers was on grass. The thing what spoilt our first few days was from a lady who's apartment overlooked the pool, she was shouting and swearing at guests and even thrown a plastic bottle at the guests in front of me. She definitely had a issue with the hotel. Location about a 25 mins walk to marina. Staff friendly. If you have a transfer bus it drops you across the road and the hotel is behind mcdonalds. We had a good time and would go back.

Pleasantly suprised with this Hotel. The rooms were small but as long as we kept it tidy and organised this wasn't a problem. Pleasantly suprised with this Hotel. The rooms were small but as long as we kept it tidy and organised this wasn't a problem. There was only 1 plug socket, so we ended up unplugging the TV and using that and also the one in the bathroom. The evening entertainment was by far the best we've had in our last 4 holidays. The food was excellent. A good variety, we never got bored. The hotel is a stones throw from the beach and in an excellent location for shops and restaurants. Possibly the only downside was having to walk past the bins from mcdonalds to get there. We never had a problem getting sunbeds, however the pool area was the only real negative I felt for the holiday. The sunbeds were a design that only lay flat which I didn't like, there were no tables available to put drinks on and the vibe around the pool was very flat, no music ect. However we were more than happy to spend most our time at the beach. Very good holiday for the price we paid.

Stayed in middle of May the week before season started in full Good hotel very well placed in the town for getting around good food and excellent staff, rooms a good size and air con works well there is a TV and safe in the room don’t know if TV worked never switched it on. ... more

Stayed in middle of May the week before season started in full Good hotel very well placed in the town for getting around good food and excellent staff, rooms a good size and air con works well there is a TV and safe in the room don’t know if TV worked never switched it on. Only 2 gripes was people smoking on the patio in front of the sliding doors to the bar stinking smoke blowing in the bar room and people taking ash trays up to their rooms and smoking on the balcony ( it’s supposed to be a smoke free building ) .
