I am currently 3 weeks into a 4 week stay at this recently newly refurbished and extended hotel and I am overall thoroughly enjoying the experience. The rooms are spacious and modern, the coffee/bar area is inviting, there are ample sun lounge and seating areas to suit all requirements and the restaurant offers a good choice of food 3 times a day for all tastes. The hotel has a few teething faults but I am sure these will be rectified in the near term and to be realistic are to be expected with such a large hotel that is effectively new in every sense. The one factor that stands out to me is the hard working staff who do a great job. I am always made welcome on entering the restaurant because I make an effort to compliment the team, the coffee bar staff on level 0, especially Carmen who sets a very high standard, provide a wonderful service, despite some guests being quite rude and unreasonable at times. The chamber maids do an outstanding job every day and probably don’t receive the gratitude they deserve. The evening dinner service needs more refinement to make it a 4 star meal service, a bit too hectic for my taste, but I am sure management are aware of the issue and next time I stay, I shall be expecting some changes. Compliments to the chefs and cooks for working so hard in preparing so many meals - well done. I also like the indoor pool which is a bonus in the cooler months. The location of the hotel is second to none with a lovely flat promenade just a few meters away to gain some exercise. This is a large hotel and hence there are many guests to cater for, but taking into account all factors, I think this hotel provides excellent value for money and I look forward to coming back again next year.

“Selfish sunbed reserving!”

Reserving sunbeds Been here 4 days and guests are allowed to reserve sunbeds all day! Last 2 days towels been left in sunbeds and both days guests collect them at 4 pm who have been out for the day! Reserving sunbeds Been here 4 days and guests are allowed to reserve sunbeds all day! Last 2 days towels been left in sunbeds and both days guests collect them at 4 pm who have been out for the day! I know plenty of other beds around but quite a few areas roped off Other guests prefer the reserved beds due to the position. I came down today at 9.30 beds already taken, person just turned up didn’t even sit down! Also beware of deaf and dumb man asking for money around the pool and gardens, shouldn’t be allowed into the premises.

Most staff very friendly and efficient. Overall the refurbishment has transformed an outdated hotel into a modern clean and bright one.Food good but restaurant can get busy at times.

Beautiful hotel, very clean and lovely decor, pool area is really nice with a very large pool, breakfast is also really nice with a lot of choice, however, checkin was bad had an early morning flight and when we arrived wede told to come back at 2.30 which we did we were still waiting at 4pm and eventually got to our room, the reception area has no water or coffee machines and you had to go down to another area if you wanted a drink which was a trek would be nice if there was some access to a drinks machine whilst waiting for the room to be ready, the rooms are beautiful spacious and comfortable I just can't understand why there is also no tea/coffee facilities in the bedroom it would have been nice to sit on the balcony and have a got drink I did enquire and was told only Premier guests were entitled to this ! I recommend bring an iron as although you get your deposit of 20 euros back you only get the iron for one hour then have to return it, towels are not available for the pool until noon this is far to late and again you pay 10 euro at reception and then ha s to trapse to the spa to collect them such a pain, all in all lovely hotel albeit a bit on the big side for us and prefer a smaller hotel with a more personal touch
