We arrived very late at night to this enormous block of apartments. The place looked very impressive but huge. The receptionist gave us our keys and when I asked where was our room she just pointed with her finger a direction! We tried to find our room but honestly it was hopeless as it was so big! Eventually a very helpful resident spent another 10 minutes rushing around with us until we found it, I think we would have still been looking for it an hour later had he not come to the rescue! Inside the room was really nice , tastefully decorated and was fully equipped with everything you could need. A bottle of water would have been nice rather than trying to find the vending machine with the right change in the middle of the night . Bed was comfy and shower was good too. The surroundings inside the place were fantastic, lots of greenery and loads of water features. It took us our whole 4 days to get our bearings as it is so vast . Unfortunately, no one came near our room to offer any cleaning/ new towels/ bedding in the 4 days we were there. The swimming pool is lovely but extra 5 euros a day for sun beds . You won’t be allowed in unless you have the wristband ! On checking out, we had 3 hours to kill. Nowhere was there any comfortable seats to hang around on just plastic ones. Being such a big complex I think it should have a few relaxing seats around. All in all a great complex , shame about the staffing

“Good and the bad”

Hotel is beautiful. Rooms and pool are clean and most staff are lovely. Let down for the hotel is you have to pay €5 per bed by the pool and the man who runs the beds has an attitude. Pool is open till 7pm, we sat on a bed at 5pm and he tried to charge us €5 for 2 hours.

BenalBeach has its glamorous years behind it. You can tell that it has aged - not necessarily with dignity - and is definitely in need of some refurbishment. The pool area, however, is lovely. BenalBeach has its glamorous years behind it. You can tell that it has aged - not necessarily with dignity - and is definitely in need of some refurbishment. The pool area, however, is lovely. The pools are beautiful, and the view is stunning. We didn’t experience any issues with the staff. As for the apartments, they seem to vary in quality, so make sure to book a renovated one, preferably on a higher floor with a view of the Mediterranean Sea - the view is outstanding. We rented our apartment privately and it was great. However, the noise level in the common areas (like the stairwells and around the elevators) is unacceptable for a holiday. Many times, it was almost impossible to sleep! That said, the surrounding area and the location itself are perfect. Everything is within walking distance.
