Very good hotel, it deserves three stars. The staff at the reception are really helpful and speak foreign languages. The room are clean and wide. They are equipped with smart tv. “Excellent will be back”
Stayed at the Hotel Solplaya 6-13 October. The hotel is centrally located right on the beach with a promenade so no roads. Despite being a 2 * the hotel was clean with AC. Stayed at the Hotel Solplaya 6-13 October. The hotel is centrally located right on the beach with a promenade so no roads. Despite being a 2 * the hotel was clean with AC. We stayed in rm 302 which had a big patio and a fantastic sea view. We had breakfast in the hotel there was a good choice of food from fruit to cheeses, meats, cereals. Reception at the hotel is basic with a couple of drink vending machines. There is parking directly outside the hotel which was free. The 32 bus which goes into the city centre is a 5 min walk and cost €1.5. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the immediate area with a fantastic beach thar goes on for about 2.5 miles. If you want a hotel that is reasonably priced and has an excellent location this would be my choice we would definitely go back and would book the same rm. Only bad point which has nothing to do with the hotel is that thete is a nightclub on the marina where the noise carries over. Not an issue for us but could be if your a light sleeper.

Fairly average no-frills hotel right off the Valencia beach area with plenty of dining choices. If you want some authentic Paella al la Valenciana, you're a stone's throw away from some quality restaurants. Do your homework and observe where the locals dine to get your best lunch/dinner, and avoid the tourist-trap establishments. The room was clean, quiet and provided the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Don't expect luxury here as this is a fairly basic hotel, popular with tourists. Overall, I had a restful stay and enjoyed the beachside ambiance. There are two transit tram stations that are about a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel, should you fancy taking in the sites of the city centre and historic sites as well. The trams interconnect with the Valencia subway/metro system. Their breakfast "buffet" consists of only cold items: breads/pastries, fruit, yoghurts, ham/cheese, a toaster, plus plenty of juices and a genuine coffee maker. For convenience, it works...but don't expect a big breakfast if that's what you fancy to start your day.

On arrival at hotel it didn't look great from outside and there was an awful sewer smell on the street, however I noticed this seemed to be common around Valencia during heat wave. The hotel is in a perfect location right along the beachfront with any amount of restaurants to choose from. I had booked boat trips- again very handy for them. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The hotel is perfect if you are just looking a clean room and good location. It's not exactly a social hotel, no bar , social or pool area. But you have it all along beachfront. Again buses into town handy, approx 20 mins to centre or oceanographic. Reception staff helpful with info on this. The room was perfect for a solo traveller. The only thing I missed was not having a full length mirror or iron. I had a seaview onto a terrace. It would have been nice to have table chairs on this area as there is a stunning view onto beach. Please keep refilling soap dispensers, hand towels and ensuring hand driers are working around hotel . However staff refilled mine in room on request but I noticed the bathrooms downstairs although being cleaned at the time had none of the above in the majority of the area when used after checking out. I wouldn't hesitate to return.
