For a 2 star hotel the ayamontino delivers ,its in a perfect location 5 minutes to the beach or 5 minutes to the town centre in the opposite direction, our room was very nice with balcony ,aircon etc and importantly we had very good undisturbed nights sleep on all of our four nights, breakfast is basic but plentiful and sets you up for the day,all of the staff we encountered were always friendly and answered any of our queries.only slight negatives and this is real nit picking would have been nice to have one english channel on the tv just to watch the news in the morning and a fridge and kettle in the room would have made the ayamontino 5 stars but we will definitely be back.

My nana and I came to Hotel Ayamontino for a fortnight’s stay at the beginning of September this year. We were most impressed with the quality of the service provided by the lovely waiters that greeted us each morning and night with a smile on their faces. The hotel receptionists were also very willing to help with any queries or recommendations. We really enjoyed the meals served in hotel, and so much so that we actually decided to eat in for the majority of nights we were in Huelva. The room we shared was clean and had its own balcony looking out onto the beautiful Spanish sunset. The location itself was quite ideal, with only a 5 minute walk to the beach, and a bus stop opposite where you could board a bus to Huelva and then travel on to cities such as Seville. Overall, my nana and I thoroughly enjoyed the time we stayed in Hotel Ayamontino, and would be delighted to return again in the near future.

“Good Spanish Hotel”

Spacious clean room and good breakfast. Friendly staff - all we needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. We only stayed one night but I would happily have stayed longer. Near to amenities and beach. I would be happy to return 😊

You get what you 've paid for. The Hotel has only two stars. For this classification it is very good. The whole staff is really polite and willing to do a good service for everyone. We were a few times in the Barcelo, but double stars doesn't mean better service! The Ayamontino is not far from the beach (5 min by feet) and not far from the centre of Punta Umbria ,-Calle Ancha- where all the restaurants, shops and bars are. The breakfasts is typically spanish. Not the brightest selection but everything you need for a relaxed start of a summer day. You can get some drinks from the morning to the evening at the terrace or the cafeteria. In Punta free parking in the centre means a lot, this was a great advantage. Finally I was surprised of a hotel with 2 stars that has good service, clean rooms, small but sufficient bathrooms in a central position. I give four stars, that are rather five than three!

Staff and room were all good. Great position for the town and the beach. We'd read poor reviews about the breakfasts, so weren't expecting much. We were pleasantly surprised. Lovely breads/cakes/croissants etc. A good toaster, plenty of jams to chose from, variety of fruit, cereals and yoghurts. The prange juice was lovely too. Quite a feast every morning!
