“Great quiet location ”
When I booked the place, I had doubts about the quality, based on the previous reviews and photos. I have to say my doubts were not founded. When I booked the place, I had doubts about the quality, based on the previous reviews and photos. I have to say my doubts were not founded. I had a room in the boongalows, which is a U shape part of the residency, facing a small garden with grass, roses and small trees and an internal parking (the parking is closed overnight, from 24:00 to 6:00). Although the hotels is on the main road from Tarifa to Cadiz, the bungalow rooms are behind the main building, so they are very quiet. Behind the bungalows there is a small swimming pool and sunbathing areas, all spotless clean and well maintained. The beds are a bit hard (for my taste), but good quality, perfectly clean and well maintained. The WiFi is on and off, as the main antenna is in the main hotel building. Overall I liked the accomodation, very quiet and peaceful. In the monring one can take a cold breakfast: selection of meat, cheese, tomatoes, youghurts, jams and toasted bread for an incredible low price.... totally recommended! And great coffee too! All the personnel in the reception and bar/restaurant area were very helful and ready to offer advices and help. The place is perfect if you have a car, as the parking is free and secure; not sure what are the transport options for public tranport, as the place feels quite remote. By car, Tarifa is 5min away (plenty of bars and restaurants) and the beach is just across the main road, crossing a small forest.

It's a hotel where you can stay comfortably, where the staff is nice and the facilities are good. The beds are really comfortable and the rooms are always clean, laying on the grass at night is also a must because the night view is beautiful in that area, this not to mention the pool where I've had so much fun over the years and where my parents have gotten a good amount of tanning done. It's not situated in the centre which is good because you can avoid the town chaos but it's also fairly close so you never miss out on the fun, whether it's going to a bar or the fair in September.

Stayed as a party of 8 birdwatchers for a week having dinner, bed and breakfast. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly; we had breakfast earlier than the scheduled times so we could make the most of each day and dinner time was flexible to fit in with our programme. The food was always delicious and beautifully cooked. There was a dining room and a large outdoor ( covered) terrace where we ate each night watching the sunset. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, everything worked properly ( aircon, wifi, hot water ). The bed was fine and I slept really well. We stayed in the bungalow rooms with views over the garden, and each had its own small terrace. Rooms 2and 3 had a joined terrace, which was fine as we were both in the same party, but had I been staying as an individual I would have preferred another room. The location is off the main coast road just west of Tarifa. Access to the long sandy beach is just opposite. The bungalows are at the back of the hotel so there is no traffic noise. The staff could not have been more helpful - thanks to all of them we had a really excellent week.

There are lots of shrubs and flowers and a large lawn with plenty of loungers. There is also a really nice swimming pool The rooms are pretty basic but they are clean, quiet and comfortable with good showers The breakfast at 5.5 Euro was brilliant value. Fresh fruit, bread, croissants, and orange juice. Also excellent coffee We looked at dinner but, in my opinion it was well overpriced. In addition the two men behind the bar that I spoke to about dinner were unfriendly and grumpy By contrast the young lady on reception was great as was the guy who was in charge at breakfast

Stayed with friends for 4 nights and having read reviews was really hopeful however was really disappointed Mainly this was due to a very unfriendly staff member…very rude at all times! This was a shame as the others weren’t but we encountered him every day. The rooms are basic but adequate however they are dirty. Having dropped an item, my frien went under the bed and they were filthy! Clearly only the floor that is visible is cleaned and mopped! Pool area is nice and clean. Well situated and close to the beach and lots of parking. Food in the restaurant is good but expensive…it also gets busy so book. Wouldn’t stay again sadly…..check out Hurricane hotel down the road….much nicer
