We stayed in this apartments fourth time at row. Great location, quiet suburb of Conil de la Frontera, named Fuente del Gallo. Apartments are less than 200 meters from wondering cliffs and sandy beaches with great view to fantastic Atlantic ocean sunsets. Large underground parking with easy, but secured access are absolutely necessary for travellers with car. Property facilities including all guests need. Cleanliness in room are above expectations. Staff are so friendly and polite. Our special thanks to señor Alejandro!

The walk to the beach area takes about five minutes with disabled access to this area as well. Down a cliff side but easy to navigate. The beach is excellent. In the height of summer this location is rammed with Spanish tourists, but at quieter times the apartments offer good vehicle access, private parking and a great service. The apartments themselves have good quality kitchenettes with TV and phone, plenty of storage and a homely easy clean feel. Nothing not to like.

...Try to avoid apartment 121 (and perhaps 119, 120, 219, 220, 221 because they are also at the far end of the estate). Apartment, 121, is next to the road, so it is a bit noisier than the rest, hot water can take 100-200 long seconds to come, and the wi-fi signal can sometimes get weak. In addition, it has a vigilance camera at the top of the backyard wall, which makes you wonder if it is pointing in the right direction every time you walk out of the bedroom. The nice gardens of the rest of the estate are non-existent in this part of the resort (apart from a couple of jasmine bushes that gave off a fragrant smell). The resort is quiet and relaxing. It has a swimming pool, which is not very busy, and a jacuzzi that was broken down during our stay. The staff at the reception are very friendly and helpful. There are ample free car parking facilities on the basement. The apartments are spacious and fully-equipped, with a kitchenette, a small fridge, a microwave oven, a TV set and air-conditioning. There is cleaning service twice a week. The resort is well-situated in a leafy suburb of Conil, called "Fuente del Gallo". The local beach of the same name is only a 6 minute-walk away, under a cliff, which makes it quite pretty to look at, there are both stairs and a ramp to get down to the beach. When the tide is low, you can walk all the way to Conil beach, but when the tide is high, it is reduced to a narrow strip of sand, which can get rather crowded. I think the beach is better sheltered from the winds than Conil's huge beach, which can be a real advantage when the wind batters the coast -quite frequent on Cadiz's coasts. The water temperature was good the last week of July, not as warm as in the Mediterranean, of course, but less cool than in the Atlantic coast of the north of Spain, so you can swim and float for a while without feeling cold. Between 21:00 and 09:00 licensed fishing is allowed and there is sometimes the odd fisherman trying to catch a gilt-head bream or a mackerel. If you like incredibly long, sandy beaches, you should drive to Conil, El Palmar or further south, but if you like cute, sandy coves you should drive to the cosy beaches of Cabo Roche, to the north. In either case, the you can get to a wide range of wonderful, wild beaches in 15-30 minutes by car. Conil is around two hour-drive from Seville, Tarifa, and Gibraltar, and one-hour away from Cadiz.
