The hotel was clean, most of the staff were friendly & helpful. We were on a golf trip & the hotel was in an excellent location for access to the courses, although the mini bus service was slow so we walked which took about 10 minutes. Food very good with a lot of choice. 2 pool areas to choose from 1 for children & 1 for adults.

Aug 2024• Family of 4 kids 9&14 Stayed in family suite which is very convenient and consists of 2 rooms with 1 bathroom It is our fourth year in this hotel since we are huge Iberostar fans and have stayed in many different locations. The hotel was renovated during covid pandemic and is in very good condition. I will state the pros and cons below so you can decide what fits you and your family: Pros -amazing location on the ocean with huge beach, several clean pools one quiet pool and some small kids water slides -strong sports animation team working very hard -evening entertainment is ok and the club dances are always fun for the family -very respectful visitors mainly Spanish families with children -good temperature during August since it is at the ocean, not too hot! -good amenities all around the hotel -rooms updated and clean - staff is very respectful and effective all around - bars, restaurants, pools, waiters, housekeeping, reception etc. -kids enjoy this hotel very much although there might be a language barrier problem at times, still they have lots of fun -Food variety and quality exceed most 4 star hotels I have been to, you will gain some weight :) Cons -I never thought I would give Iberostar a 4 star review but for this I have only one reason: Kids Animation in the dolphins club was not as good as before, They used to do much more activities and they were much more fun, also always trying to include our daughter and son despite the language barrier ( only Spanish during activities) I would say the animation is one of Iberostar’s strongest advantages, and it is a shame that our kids wanted and were looking forward to enjoy games and participate(based on their stay in other Iberostar hotels), but were met with indifference, since they will cause more work and repeating everything in English:( Eagle’s club for teens was non existent, they just waited for teens to show up at the meeting point, and if they do not, that’s it!! They never tried to gather a few kids from around the pool or beach and just introduce them and throw them a ball or start a game, not so hard in my opinion. We tried to communicate these problems to the animation team leader, but he never showed up or tried to follow up, to hear us or receive any feedback:( Good to know - this hotel is catering mainly to families and mainly to Spanish families, and you might feel o bit isolated during evening shows and pool events since they mainly speak Spanish language during these times -parking fee is high according to what we heard from other visitors -there is a fee for using the room safe -some alcohol drinks are for a fee, although this did not effect us since we don't drink alcohol -since lots of kids be prepared for noise all around pools and in restaurant What we love -wave of change initiative for sustainability The whole chain adapts this initiative which is amazing and way to go for all hotels in my opinion -hard working and very attentive staff all around the hotel Special mention to the following: Peinado at main restaurant attentive and polite Marina reception professional Luis animation, an asset for this hotel Oliva animation Mercedes animation Would we visit again? For us it's 3 hours plane and 3 hours transfer but we still love this place, if only the animation could come back to what it was in the past, fun and engaging for all the kids.

The food is really the standout of this hotel. The buffet is huge, with loads of options and all great quality. The snack bars between meals are also great. Drinks are fair quality as well (considering the all inclusive options). The family room was better than expected, very spacious. The daily cleanliness of the room was excellent. The pools are great as well, a lot of activities for the kids, they had so much fun. Staff in general is excellent and hard working. A special praise to Luis that helped us with the bags and to navigate through the hotel. My only disappointment with staff was in the pool bar (the guy is rude and not friendly at all). All things considered, the hotel is what you can expect from an all inclusive in this category, we had a great week there. I just took one star because the beach chairs are not included and they cost €8.50 per person, per day. Also, you have to pay for the drinks at the beach bar. That’s why a lot of all inclusive guests don’t stay at the beach and this was not made clear in the check-in. I recommend the hotel for families and would stay there again.
