First holiday in Vera (been to Mojacar twice previously) and we’ve only been back 12 hours and booked again. The hotels kerb appeal from the main road is at a zero. The staff are not very good with English language but try their best. The walk from the reception to our room was horrid for the first few times because I felt like we were in the wrong place at the wrong time. My first impressions weren’t good but how wrong could I be. The lifts aren’t the quickest but a minutes wait isn’t the end of the world. The room/balcony overlooked the Adaria Hotel and the street dividing the Marina Rey and Adaria. The two bedroom apartment we had was of very good size and fitted with very much everything you could need (take your own kettle and hairdryer). The tv does show English/American shows but you have to press the audio button on the remote to access the QAA option to remove the spanish dubbing. We watched CSI,NCSI,Blue Blood and Hawaii 5.0 every night as well as a few films on Paramount channel. The pool area was great because there were no other English people around so we spent time as a family,appreciating each other. The Spanish came round at about 11am and disappeared at 3pm for siesta time. Very few returned after siesta. The beach is about 5 minute walk away. The Consum supermarket is about 15 minute nice walk away and the English food bars are about a 15 minute walk away but different direction to the supermarket. AquaVera is only a 10 minute walk away but didn’t visit as my 16 year old didn’t want to visit. The only downside myself and my family found about the room was the beds in the bedrooms. They are extremely uncomfortable and consist of what feels like billions of exposed springs! Apart from this,it ended up being so relaxing and each day lasted a lifetime. Loved Vera so much that we’ve booked for next year. Just change the beds please Marina.

“Extremely noisy back to the 70s.”

Excellent price, apartments are very dated If you want a peaceful break, then forget it as there is no soundproofing between the apartments. Hear the neighbours talking, toilets flushing all night, guests in the corridors For what we paid for the location it was expected for a 1970s apartment.

“Three day stop over”

Stayed three nights here, the apartment was very nice, clean and spacious , the surrounding area was very quiet,but this could have been due to late season and after effects of Covid-19. If we was in the area again we would certainly use this facility again.

“Nice but TOO QUIET”

Stayed here from the 1st-7th September, apartments great size for 4 people but had to move apartment on day 3 as started to smell like a sewer. The location is extremely quiet only good thing around was the Indian located 3 minutes away. We kept travelling into another town to a bar called the blue… more

Stayed here from the 1st-7th September, apartments great size for 4 people but had to move apartment on day 3 as started to smell like a sewer. The location is extremely quiet only good thing around was the Indian located 3 minutes away. We kept travelling into another town to a bar called the blue parrot which was excellent with entertainment most nights and served good food. Hotel is mostly Spanish people, so its hard to communicate I feel like this is where the Spanish go for a holiday. Pool area was excellent never a fight over the sun loungers although can become uncomfortable. Friendly staff and games room and entertainment for children.
