“Not a 4 star hotel - basic ‘boutique’ hotel”
Hotel definitely not a 4 star ! Who grades these hotels. !! Amenities basic - outside pool area nice and quiet and clean. No tea and coffee making facilities in room - very disappointing. Hotel definitely not a 4 star ! Who grades these hotels. !! Amenities basic - outside pool area nice and quiet and clean. No tea and coffee making facilities in room - very disappointing. Our stay did not include food although you could pay as you go. 12 euros each for buffet breakfast - quite expensive. We found a traditional cafe a few minutes walk away which we would walk to every morning for our coffee and tostadas “Cafetería Luna” . Definitely worth a visit. Lovely family run cafe. Strange decor in hotel - very tired looking and requires refurbishment. The staff friendly. Lack of atmosphere. We stayed on the third floor overlooking the beautiful villas and we could see the sea in the distance. Definitely opt for a room with the villa / sea in the distance view as there are building works the other side (building apartments). It was not noisy though. 10/15 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. We did enjoy our holiday and the hotel was rather quaint but we did enjoy our stay overall. If you want quiet and one small pool and a bar that opens at 11.00 am until 11.00 pm and no tea and coffee facilities in your room then this is the hotel for youx. Roquetas de Mar is not too touristy and we definitely would return to the area but stay in a different hotel.
