“Fantastic hotel”

Lovely hotel, well situated for town beach and bus stop 10 minutes max. The towels were replaced frequently, nice clean spacious room, comfortable king size bed and very clean spacious bathroom. Lovely hotel, well situated for town beach and bus stop 10 minutes max. The towels were replaced frequently, nice clean spacious room, comfortable king size bed and very clean spacious bathroom. The food was varied and plentiful with lots of choice, staff worked very hard to clear plates and replenish food and they were all very pleasant and friendly. Would return and would definitely recommend, no negatives at all. Thank you GHT Oasis.

“Great weeks break at the Oasis Tossa Hotel.”

We arrived around 11-30 am and checked-in but told to come back in an hour for our room. We fully expected this so it was not a problem. Had a quick walk about and when we came back our room was ready. The safe key and lock is free to use so this was a surprise. The room was very clean and roomy.... more

We arrived around 11-30 am and checked-in but told to come back in an hour for our room. We fully expected this so it was not a problem. Had a quick walk about and when we came back our room was ready. The safe key and lock is free to use so this was a surprise. The room was very clean and roomy. Toilet and walk-in shower were great. The maids always had a smile and a hola for us. We had half board so tried out the meals and found them to be very good loads of choices and a hot plate cooking either fish and various meats over the course of the nights, breakfasts had bacon, eggs, omelettes all cooked fresh each morning. Lots of pasta, salads, vegetables, sea food, cheeses etc so no complaints from us. It was not to bad for queuing for the meals except when we had rain lashing down outside for 3 nights so a bit busier on those nights. All of the staff where very pleasant and showed us to our table each each session. For water go to the far end of the restaurant and a machine dispenses if free. We never used the spa so cannot comment on it. The pool area had a life guard there all of the time. There was an animation girl doing games during the day twice a day. There was a bit of music put on around the pool area for a couple of hours each day but she came around and asked everybody if they were happy with the volume, so quite understanding there. Evenings there was the dreaded bingo, pop quiz, flamenco dancing and a girl singer over the course of the nights. The flamenco was good. The bar staff again excellent, happy and very pleasant even time for a chat. Had a surprise at the prices at the bar 3-50 euros for a pint and 1-50 euros for a wine. At the beach i paid between 5 and 6 euros for a pint in the bars around that area understandable and not complaining just giving comparisons. It was probably a 15 minute slow walk down to the beach through the town. Loads of eating places too many to talk about. All in all a great stay, very clean hotel and had a great stay. Would recommend this hotel.

Not a bad hotel but not brilliant either. Pool was lovely and staff were friendly. Location was very quiet but near super markets and tourist shops and also the bus station. Few negatives that stood out to me: - No kettle in room. Probably not a problem for lots of people but I drink a lot of coffee so ended up buying a travel kettle and a jar of coffee. Breakfast didn't start until 8am, which was usually fine but I could've done with it being earlier the day I was leaving. Evening meal was 8pm until 10pm which felt far too late. I usually finish eating at 7pm! But even staying at 7pm would be an improvement. Food was nice but very limited choice. Dessert was very poor. When I went to use the indoor pool I was told I had to book first. This hadn't been explained to me on check in. When I went down to the evening entertainment I could see it was table service. I waited 40 minutes to be served and could see other tables that had arrived after me were being served.
