“Cracking little hotel”

We are actually here as I write this review, can't fault this little hotel Our flight was delayed by nearly 5 hours so didn't arrive till 2.30 am and we' were worried we would be unable to check in till the morning, but no problem quickly checked in and off to bed . The room was red hot and We couldn't get the aircon to work so the guy on reception came up to sort immediately (3am). All the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The pool area is very clean , nice pool and the gardens are well looked after. We ate breakfast and snacks here and all has been good and at good prices . The icing on the cake I'd the resident dog who is just as friendly as the staff

Amazing wee holiday we were here last June and liked it that much decided come again me and my son having great time again so far, place is clean rooms nice shower is good too , staff are all friendly and welcoming ,the hotel is out the way but not too far a walk too shops 5 mins down road so nice peaceful here, pool isn’t too cold unlike some hotels I’ve been too recently pitty weather not been too great but still had good time will definitely be back too hotel las Mariposas next year Thanks Callum & Corey

“Great ”

Brilliant hotel with everything you need. Staff were friendly, rooms clean, food nice. Great sized pool and a smaller pool for young children. Really had nothing to complain about. Worth noting you need to pay €100 deposit on arrival

“Could be so much better!!”

My husband and I stayed here in September. Our stay was ok but it could have been so much better. The location is great, only a 20minute walk from the centre of Lauret and surrounded by lots of small but friendly bars. A few minute walk to the local shops and food venues. The reception was warm and welcoming. We were asked for £100 deposit for our room which was refundable on departure on our last day, £10 for a safe which is not refundable. The room was basic and clean, a fresh coat of paint woukd have made a big difference to the room. The balcony was a good size but looked like it hadn't been swept in a few weeks. We didn't see a cleaner in the first 6 days of our stay so we had to ask for toilet roll and fresh towels. I was able to change our bedding due to fresh sheets on the shelves in the bedroom.. Air conditioning although functionable was old and defo needs replacing. Restaurant/bar staff were lovely, friendly and very welcoming. The food we bought although basic was cheap, tasty and well presented The pool was a good size and clean although the filters had mould so it looked like it needed a thorough cleaning. The sunbeds were poor and in the most part broken so definitely need replacing. The pool area needed to be thoroughly cleaned every day which it clearly wasn't, there was cigarette butt's on the floor for four days which was gross, especially as people walk around bare foot. A touch of paint inside and out, A better more thorough cleaning regime in the rooms and poolside not to mention a little music by the pool would make the world of difference to Las Mariposas.
