Parking is easy despite being yards from Albir Main Street, which has everything you would need available. The large Sunday market is also two minutes away. All and all a very good base for a couple of nights.

“More pros than cons.”

Arrived quite late on 14/09/16 so just went straight to bed. Pleased that it was very quiet. Arrived quite late on 14/09/16 so just went straight to bed. Pleased that it was very quiet. Was impressed by the apartment ,well appointed galley kitchen ,bathroom with bath,sink,toilet and bidet all clean and tidy. Large lounge with dining table and comfy sofa which was a bit grubby ,but acceptable.One point to make,the hotel says it has satellite TV,it does not !Just standard digital terrestial on an ancient CRT set. The lounge opens up onto a good sized balcony which gets the sun from it's rising to around 2'ish in the afternoon. The bedroom was also of a fair size with plenty of storage and FREE safe !!!!!! The not quite so good parts was, for me, I was on the ground floor (106) and there was an industrial size extractor fan outside the bedroom window. This was not too noisy, but I did notice it when trying to get off to sleep. On the whole things were reasonably quiet,but there were a few occasions where the door an cupboard bangings were noticeable from other users. On scouting around Albir I soon decided that it was too expensive to eat out,so took the self catering tag literally! A good supermarket around the corner (Consum) provided all I needed and costs were roughly on a par with the UK. The only problem was ,although there was an oven in the apartment there were no baking trays or oven proof dishes provided,so everything was done on the hobs.On a couple of occasions I bought a hot roast chicken from a little way down the street which saves cooking sometimes. I found Albir a pretty little place,easy to walk around and relatively uncommercialised. There is a good long beach ,but be aware that it is pebbles and you will need aqua shoes if swimming. The ground shelves away steeply and there can sometimes be a strong undertow. I noticed that bathing for children was kept to the town end of the beach. To conclude I can say that my 2 week holiday was enjoyable. If you like a peaceful relaxing time,this could be the place for you.

“Good value, good quality apartment”

Very pleased with the quality of the apartment. Clean, reasonably well equipped and good value for money. Interesting check in as we don't speak much Spanish and the chap behind the desk didn't speak any English but with a bit of pointing and gesturing we got our keys and found the apartment. Very pleased with the quality of the apartment. Clean, reasonably well equipped and good value for money. Interesting check in as we don't speak much Spanish and the chap behind the desk didn't speak any English but with a bit of pointing and gesturing we got our keys and found the apartment. Nice pool as we went in the height of summer and it was hot! Well located for the restaurants and bars but about a ten minute walk to the beach which we knew about as we have been to Albir many times before. Don't bother with the breakfast, if you've booked it, apart from the coffee and juice as it is really limited.
