A lovely hotel laid out like a typical Spanish village. However, we wouldn’t return as being over 70 and reasonably fit for our age, we struggled to climb the steep hill from the entrance to the main part of the hotel. The view from our room (which was very spacious and comfortable) was amazing. The hotel was a bit isolated as nothing but a couple of restaurants nearby and a padel court but that was it.

Was very disappointed with my stay here, the hotel is miles out from anywhere!!! Its a bus ride or taxi to get into the nearest town!!! Nothing within a pleasant walking distance, even the nearest beach is a 40 minute walk!!!!! Also it dosent mention anywhere that you have to pay extra for kettle,… more

Was very disappointed with my stay here, the hotel is miles out from anywhere!!! Its a bus ride or taxi to get into the nearest town!!! Nothing within a pleasant walking distance, even the nearest beach is a 40 minute walk!!!!! Also it dosent mention anywhere that you have to pay extra for kettle, plates, cups etc, I found this a bit odd if your not fully inclusive. Staff at breakfast were really quite rude, (not all) but most. The only good point I can make is the absolutely stunning view from our balcony, which overlooked the sea, but again had to pay extra, would never stay again.

We were thrilled upon arriving to have been upgraded to a sea view room having only booked a pool view. We were taken to the room in a golf-cart by a very friendly, very helpful member of staff who made the stay more enjoyable. When we got to the room, the view of the sea was nothing less than spectacular. However, the hotel seems to be lacking in other areas, the main issue being the dining area. You had to pay 20 euros per person to go into the restaurant for lunch at the buffet, which was seriously disappointing as there was little to nothing in terms of variety. The buffet is incredibly small with not much at all to offer, especially for children and fussy eaters. Also, no dessert or ice cream. Only a jar of sweets, not even any cake. The staff in the restaurant at dinner came across to be quite rude. It is also so tiny and unbearably loud in there. Much room for improvement around the hotel, a few paint touch-ups and new curtains on the sea view balcony as they were dirty. Bathroom very small with a stuffy bath. Nice hotel to stay at, but for what you pay it definitely needs some improvement. Had we not have been upgraded, we would not have been as satisfied with our stay. It is also in a deserted area, no nearby shops and it looked like any pathways to the beach were blocked. The staff on reception however were great, spoke English and were incredibly helpful and friendly along with the buggy driver. The man on reception was always happy to do as much as he could for us, I didn’t get his name. No other English people in the hotel, I think this hotel is more suited to Spanish locals who seemed to fit in more and enjoyed the Spanish singer that was provided for entertainment, that was very good.

Let’s start with the good. It is an absolutely stunning place. It has the feel that someone bought a village and made it into a hotel. It has charm & character. The sea views are amazing and the junior suites feel much bigger than they look on the photos. As many have mentioned, there is a great selection at breakfast. The staff are outstanding. Every single person asked how I was and it felt like they meant it. Service overall was second to none. However… The suite we had was tired. Very tired. Beading loose on the window, kitchen units were tired, tap on both the kitchen sink and bathroom sink were loose. Despite having a suite, there was nothing in the kitchen other than 4 tumblers. We were told by friends we needed to request a kitchen pack - which to be fair, arrived promptly. The pack did lack any cleaning materials, and when we first called we were told there were no cloths or washing up liquid available - made me wonder how the cleaners managed. Then the pool bar. I went for a glass of red wine. They didn’t have any & the barman disappeared for 10 mins, returning with just one bottle. I understand it happed with beer too. This place could so easily have a full 5 stars with not a huge amount of effort.
