“Top Hotel, Top people.”
Top place. Very clean bright hotel, beautiful room and friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. “Average Hotel Overall”
After reading some of the reviews, you'd think this hotel was a disaster waiting to happen! But that is not the case. After reading some of the reviews, you'd think this hotel was a disaster waiting to happen! But that is not the case. Bear in mind it is only a 3* hotel, so don't expect all the frills you might get elsewhere eg free water bottles, free safe, and tea-making equipment. A big plus is that the hotel was spotlessly clean throughout. The food had good and bad points, but there is no need to starve - if you don't like something go and get something else, some foods there were excellent. I found all the staff there very friendly and helpful, with a major exception...the bar! Many things revolve around the bar (including dances, games and evening entertainment), but the tables are often dirty and sticky, the slightest sound echoes and so it is always very noisy in there, the barmen often ignore you and carry on with their chores, or leave the bar unattended for long periods, or there is a long queue waiting to be served. They advertise a daily cocktail which often includes grenadine yet they either ran out of it or could not find the bottle. Don't expect a "Benidorm", as Denia is a working town that is not really making allowances for tourists eg I saw no public toilets anywhere.
