Family of 4 stayed for a week in October and have to say the apartment was perfect for our needs, all mod cons, clean and great views to the sea. You will need to collect keys from tourist info office in Denia a few kilometers away from the apartment, so a car is a must. Friendly receptionist at the info office, easy to find using a satnav, for both the office and apartments. Also given a complimentary meal voucher for a tapas restaurant, which was a bonus. The beds fairly comfortable, a little harder than at home, could do with more pillows, en-suite for the main bedroom with a bath and a shower room between the other two rooms of this 3 bed apartment. There is no reception area, this really is a hire your own place for your stay, as a private residence as opposed to a hotel complex, our first time doing this, dare i say it, we did sort of miss the hotel esque facilities, its all we have done in the past, but we did adapt and get used to it. The pool was too cold this time of the year, did try it once lol,, probably not enough sunbeds for the summer crowd. The beach is all pebbles, rock or stone, no sand, but very jurassic looking. There are some restaurants along the beach front promenade, mostly fish based, but appeared very popular. Dont expect an English breakfast in town, not really catered for Brits abroad style, we did find an all you can eat chinese buffet on the way out of town called the Wok, which had great food and best value for your euro, at 10.95e per person. They all get you on the drinks though which racks up the bill and as we drove everywhere, soft drinks are more expensive than alcohol. All in all a good base for either relaxing, walks along the beach front etc. Denia itself is more for relaxation and slow pace with very few obvious tourists, a wide range of mid to expensive restaurants to choose from in town or just out from the centre. Marina has a few places to eat, although more costly, but dont expect it to be like Benidorm for example, much quieter and more Spanish if thats what you prefer. The main attractions to visit are further afield, you would need to visit Benidorm for the water and nature parks or attractions for the younger ones, or travel to Valencia to visit the Bioparc or other attractions, well worth a visit. there are some good supermarkets in town, Aldi and a large supermercado next to it for all your self catering food needs and good prices. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend the Bravosol apartments to treat as your own home away, would definitely consider again if going to Denia.

“Functional but lots of minor problems”

Mmmmmmm. Had high hopes for this one. Looks fab on the website, and first impression on arrival is quite good. Lovely quiet location with great walks. Fairly attentive caretaker too ( but not on site). Lounge/kitchen nice and modern and spacious. Then scratch the service and many things let it down… more

No loungers to relax by the pool, which is turning green most days and needs to be cleaned more regularly. .. The most basic of bedrooms with few fittings .. Despite being clean throughout, the grouting in the baths and showers was full of mould .. Wifi dropping in and out constantly .. Very poorly equipped kitchen Great shame. Just a little care and attention could make this place really good. But a stay here makes you feel disappointed most of the time.
