We were recommended this hotel by our family and it didn't disappoint. Pros: Sea view room was large with 2 showers in the bathroom and a stunning view of the beach and rock Little treats each day before bed like chocolates, sleeping spray, a beach bag, cap etc all were such lovely little gifts and welcomed Entertainment the first night was spot on we were both quite tired and really enjoyed the live music - the song choices were great that every time we went to go to the room we ended up saying after the next song Bar staff super friendly and helpful even when we were up late playing pool Supermarket under the hotel was ideal for water and snacks (wish we had thought sooner for lunch ideas!) Breakfast and dinner had lots of options food wise that you couldn't complain at all. Yes it was busy but the food was always warm and the staff always friendly. The dinner buffet had meats cooked in front of you plus a sushi section (very nice!) as well as fish, vegan options, gluten free and dairy options so it could suit everyone even the fussiest of eaters The pool was lovely Directly on the beach but note you do need your own umbrella if you go down later than 11am as limited payable beds on the beach. The beach itself was spotless and the sea so clear Location ideal its quiet but near to the restaurants and shops and a nice promenade walk too Cons: Have to pay extra for the spa at €32 per person (we didn't use this) Pool as everyone else has mentioned is super busy - we understand this but there is a huge green area where sun loungers and umbrellas could be added that was left bare. We had to wait one day for loungers for about 45 minutes and bare in mind not all of them have shade so sadly my partner did get slightly burnt that day! Lunch by the pool the first day was lovely but the last day was bland and not the same also quite pricey €15 for a sandwich Overall we would love to return but maybe out of season so we dont feel stressed each morning to find a sun lounger

This was our second time here as my Daughter was getting married up the coast, between us we booked 15 rooms. we booked a Suite so bridesmaids could get ready bit disappointed with this your supposed to get Champagne on arrival didn’t happen, had to take our own luggage to our room, mini bar was refilled every day last year, you only get replacement water now when spending over 3.5k for a week a couple of beers and coke wouldn’t go a miss. Asked reception to take two bottles of champagne to our room for the bridal party but was told the bar doesn’t open for another hour so 24hr room service is pointless. Breakfast is great staff are friendly but disappointed on our second visit.

We stayed here for 5 nights as we were on a short break. The hotel is very modern, tastefully decorated and clean. There is a lovely reception and bar area to the right which really captures the mood on an evening. The restaurant for breakfast was well managed and the service and food was good. There is also a smaller breakfast room (less busy) on the ground floor. We had a superior sea view room. The rooms were a bit larger than normal, clean and modern. There is a flat screen tv, coffee making facilities, mini fridge and safe (located in the wardrobe area). Also tucked away are robes, a hair dryer and toiletries. Nothing else you could need! Good comfy beds and great black out curtains, so no light floods in in the morning. The hotel staff are polite and friendly, reception efficient and made our stay that bit smoother. The surrounding area is good, with shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. The old part of town is about a 10 minute walk away - it is a little up hill (a few different routes). Expect to do plenty of walking! The only issue we had was the lack of sun beds round the pool. There is not enough for the numbers of people wanting to use them (especially in afternoons). Its a big hotel. I do advise if the hotel is reading this, to invest in a few more as it led to a few unhappy customers. Apart from this - a lovely hotel.

“Mixed bag, not sure I would come back, shame!”

The hotel team are brilliant and friendly on the whole with exception of a couple of staff members. The hotel team are brilliant and friendly on the whole with exception of a couple of staff members. Of an evening, they are so short staffed at the busy pool bar with entertainment, we ended up helping them clear glasses away, 3.5 hours, 2 drinks served. Felt very sorry for the team working. This needs to be addressed for the guests and staff as we witnessed this every night. Pool area nice but very cramped/busy. They say 20 mins on sunbed unattended on the sign but not seen this enforced throughout the week, prior days in our week of not one towel removed, 4 sunbeds were nearly 4 hours empty, and we left to go have breakfast in the hotel- 40 mins- came back, things moved and a couple on our beds. No consistency of their own rules being followed. Make sure you ask for a pool or sea view or you will be looking at street / bin view - as description on TUI is all sea view rooms, we were informed at reception that this was not the case and it needed updating- however, the lady on reception, sorted that issue very quickly for us, and couldn't have been happier going forward with our room.
