Went for New Years Eve and the following 6 nights. Food on NYE was brilliant loads of choice and the service was great, really well thought out. Good choice rest of week could be warmer. Breakfast choice was good although never like chewy bacon. Rooms very clean and cleaner came daily. Staff very helpful and polite. Thought downside was lack of choice in the bar only one draught and not nice. Cannot comment on pool as too cold in Jan. Great location so would stay there again.

“Fabulous New Year”

After reading the reviews we were a bit sceptical but we needn't have worried. The hotel was lovely, staff very friendly, room clean couldn't really fault it. The food was a bit repetitive but always found something to eat and as usual sometimes it needed warming up. New Year's Eve was fabulous the Gala Dinner was amazing and the staff went out of their way to make it enjoyable, we were given bags containing hats, streamers and masks along with the traditional grapes to eat at midnight. It started off with a champagne reception and the drinks kept on flowing all evening, they celebrated New Year for the Spanish at midnight and then New Year for the Brits at 1pm with traditional Auld Lang Syne topping up the champagne followed by a light buffet. The New Year entertainment was great the staff had everyone up dancing until early hours it made New Year very special. It was our first trip away for New Year and wouldn't hesitate going back again. We went to the beach to watch the fireworks at midnight and then back to the hotel ready for British New Year where we partied until 3am.

Went to menorca witch was terrible so me and the Mrs decided to jump on a plane and go to benidorm. While in the airport we realised the only hotel we could think of is the sol pelicanos/solana so off we went .when we arrived we told the lady on reception our predicament she was extremely helpful this was the best few days of our holiday. We're just about to book a weeks family holiday here for July can't wait

We had a nice 5 days at this hotel, we got there around lunch time and our room wasn’t ready until 4pm, checkin at reception was long which it didn’t need to be. The rooms are big enough but could do with up dating, marks on walls and ceiling and black on the tiles in the bathroom other then that they are ok. The food is hit and miss, breakfast and lunch is nice but dinner wasn’t very warm and not a lot of choice when it’s gone it’s gone and they don’t seem to fill back up on some items . Security are rude at this hotel shouting at people when they walk in asking to look at there bands, other then little things, this hotel is ok and in a really good location.
