Excellent Hotel - Excellent Staff - Enough said. But i'll expand briefly, as did my waist on this trip !!! Staff - all hardworking, all seem very happy in their roles. Just remember that it's nice to be pleasant back to them and although you'll maybe be All Inclusive , you can still give a Tip, as you would back home. It's nice to be nice. Rooms - some people have said the decor is dated, i only care about the essential things : Bed - very comfy ( tried to get it in my suitcase , but didn't fit ) Shower - powerful and always had hot water Room - decent size and plenty storage space Cleaner - special mention to Rosita, who always brightened up my day with her heartwarming smile and her pride in her work. Food - i'm really fussy with food , but finding something to eat was never a problem with the sheer amount of different items on the menu. BREAKFAST IS AMAZING - i'm really missing the Sausage ... Drinks - very drinkable . I can't comment on the evening Entertainment as i was always out and about. Overall then - Sandos you smashed it - so big cheers to you and hopefully see you again and again.

Hotel was nice in a good location. Very clean and rooms cleaned everyday. Shower in room had really low pressure and did tend to go hot and cold everyday. Hotel was nice in a good location. Very clean and rooms cleaned everyday. Shower in room had really low pressure and did tend to go hot and cold everyday. Food is average I would say but always managed to find something. Lifts are very busy first thing in the morning and take a long time to arrive. I’m not sure if I would return if I’m honest, absolutely nothing massively wrong or bad but it’s not outstanding either.

Benidorm has gone up in my estimation. The new town is as you’d expect, full of bars and nightclubs, fine if that’s your think. The old town is lovely and full of lovely shops and locals. The Sandos Monaco hotel is equidistant from old and new town and a 4 minute walk to the beachfront. It has a nice sunbathing area with a swimming pool. The all inclusive food is of a very good standard and we weren't disappointed. Drinks are included unless you have top grade. Entertainment every evening too. Really enjoyed our stay there and recommended it highly.

“Dodgy singers and lads, lads, lads”

About my 3rd time at this hotel and we still love it. My only real gripes are the entertainment was a bit pants. I know that as an adults only hotel we won’t be seeing any bird shows, but after 10 days and 8 of those we watched a singer butcher the songs that you would see drunken brits sing on the karaoke it gets stale. Toward the end of our stay the entertainment was hosted outside, which normally would be a fab change, but due to noise pollution in the area, the volume had to be kept low. I do wear a hearing aid so I was struggling to hear even with that in. I’m hoping this was just because the euros were on and matches were played on the larger screen in the lounge. And also we had some trouble with other guests. I’m by no means an old fuddy duddy at the age of 31, but there was a lot more ‘lads holidays’. Our first few nights we were woken up by our neighbours coming home at 3 and 4 in the morning, and what I can I can only describe as running down the corridor. As well as the constant banging of doors from them coming and going into each others rooms. We spoke to others on our floor who told us they did actually make a complaint to the manager about this and it did somewhat settle down, but as the lady we spoke to pointed out, we paid good money to stay here, and sadly in that ladies case she said she wouldn’t return because of it. I hope this isn’t a new trend that’s starting, because this hotel should be about rest and relaxation not sleepless nights because other guests don’t consider others. Unfortunately there’s still a problem with reserving sunbeds. But thats standard for any hotel really. There was signs saying that towels would be removed after 40 mins if not used but I never saw this followed up with. There was a lifeguard on duty and she was helping to keep the pool area clear by collecting glasses, but never did anything about the masses of beds being reserved. But loved being back at the sandos, and I will always have a soft spot since this was the hotel we stayed in when my partner proposed on this holiday! We might see you again for our honeymoon ❤️
