“Brilliant Hotel”

Really have enjoyed our stay here at Poisden Resort, the receptionist was very friendly from when we arrived. Really have enjoyed our stay here at Poisden Resort, the receptionist was very friendly from when we arrived. We had a pool view on the 2nd floor and room only with breakfast, decent sized fridge in room. No kettle but we bought a collapsible one with us. Breakfast was ok but round the corner there are 4 small english bars that did great breakfasts at a good price, you walk just few minutes and you are in the old town. Across the road there is restaurant Alley walk all way down there and you are then on the strip about 10 mins to rockstar pub. China town restaurant was delicious at set meal for 21 euros straight across the road. 2 pools areas one for poisden palace on for resort I preferred resort one as was less people and plenty of shade, plenty of beds and shade around. Entertainment we watched once on first night it is spanish Entertainment and was good watching people dancing like professionals. I would definitely come back to this hotel and do room only, food was okay but 2 days was a bit cold. Lifts always ok no issues there. Beds comfy, small hair dryer, decent walk in shower. Lots of coathangers. Highly recommend this hotel for its location to everything.

“honest and recent visit”

this is a very honest review, not many mention the bars in the hotel, well that's a main object for me going to Benidorm, even more so at fiesta. this is a very honest review, not many mention the bars in the hotel, well that's a main object for me going to Benidorm, even more so at fiesta. I was all inc., brands included cans of cold strongbow, Madri and other well known lagers and beers. Bottles of cocktails pre made, OMG to die for, Now you might say were not all inc. the hotel is a lot cheaper than the strip, so we used to get a few in before going out. Now the walking distance is 5 imn (and Im old and suffer walking) to the start of the strip, Winners is close by if you use the resort entrance, miles easier than the palace entrance. On the way back there is a spanish karaoke bar facing the entrance, made to feel so welcome. The hotel entertainment is predom spanish, but you will know most of the tunes and line dancing stuff, If you give it a go and show people your approachable and verbally friendly they are to, never saw any Germans. The don't like it when you drop their spanish bandits lol. Food, I have cut out bread so an English breakfast is not the same without toast and fried bread, its all there. if you go down at 10.15 don't complain if its warm, go down at 8.30. not rocket science. lunch and dinner have some good selections, i had a fish cooked in a paper bag, omg, had 3 more portions, next day a fish with a sauce in breadcrumbs, i say fish because i don't know which one, please try their dishes, very good. there is something and if all fail, the salad bar and meats are all there. Puddings loads of choices and fruits. very clean restaurants, you can eat in both. Because i didn't go in the main season i cannot comment on towels on loungers because there were plenty to go around and chair in the shade. Rooms are clean and cleaned daily, BBC1, 2 and news, plus cbbc channel, brilliant over head shower, big, staff attitude excellent, treat as you would like to be treat. smile and if this took 5 minutes to read it is honest, and you will get what you paid for,

Just back from a week in the Poseidon Resort, we we're there for the Spanish Fiesta week and the fancy dress party on the Thursday to finish the week off 🥳🎉💃🕺What a week in Benidorm was fantastic on all levels. The hotel is so central to the old town and only 10mins walk from the new town main strip. We went B & B which we found to be really good with a good choice every day 😋😋. Would definitely stay here again when coming back for the fiesta and fancy dress which we will be doing. Staff we're really nice and helpful and we had our room cleaned every day and clean towels.

“Nice place to stay - ola!”

Travelled on my own and found the holtel really nice. Good clean room, fab bathroom with lovely walk in shower. Hair and Shower Gel good. AC worked really well. TV channels BBC1 & 2. Pool area I could always get a sunbed. Good location easy to find everything. Food good and drinks well priced… more

Pool area I could always get a sunbed. Good location easy to find everything. Food good and drinks well priced. Majority of guests were Spanish and it great watching them dance in the evening. Overall good place to stay and hope to visit again.
