Just home from a week at Rosamar and we had a fantastic time, the hotel was at full capacity we were on the 12th floor and never waited very long for a lift, the staff were all friendly and welcoming and the food wasn't bad either it was typical of all inclusive hotel food you can always find something to eat, the foam party was great, the people staying at the Ambassador hotel were all on their balconys watching everyone having fun and the kids loved the waterpark and the mini disco. can't believe all of the complaints as I've been coming to Benidorm for 30 years and I've stayed in most of the hotels and Rosamar is up there with thebestof them, thank you Rosamar wewill be back.

On arrival,we checked in at reception and were dealt with quickly by the friendly staff. We were very happy with the room,it was spaceous,clean and well equipped. There's a small kitchenette with sink,microwave,kettle and fridge,which was an added bonus,even though we were all inclusive,it was nice to be able to make a cup of tea whenever. The bathrroom was nice and roomy,shower brilliant,plenty of room in the cubicle, with a hand rail in and a stool to sit on whilst in the shower, which i found most helpful. There's a hairdryer and an extra magnified mirror,which was also very useful. The hotel also supplied small bottles of soap/shampoo. The beds and the pillows were the most comfortable we have ever experienced,my sleep quality especially, was amazing. There was ample hanging space for clothes and extra pillows and blankets if we needed. There was a large flat screen tv in the bedroom,and in the kitchen/lounge area on the wall,with good choice of English channels. There was also a comfy sofa that converted into a bed. The room was cleaned daily and towels replenished when required. There are four lifts.There was a bit of a wait during meal times,but then this applies to any other hotel we have ever stayed in. My advice is,the earlier you can get down to breakfast,the better,as 9 am onwards got really busy. The dining room was busy,but everything ran smooth,the staff were very attentive,the food was piping hot, and of excellent quality,which was constantly replenished . Fruit juices and hot drinks were supplied at breakfast,we were all inclusive,so wine,and lager, and soft drinks were there on a self service basis with lunch and dinner. There were two pools,one where there were activities and music,and the other one was quieter and had a waterpark for the children. The children were well catered for, with day/night activities. There was an all inclusive seating area where hot/cold quality food/snacks,ice cream and drinks, were available during the day till early evening. When we arrived,we were given a token,which we handed in at the bar and we got a drink,i think this is a good idea,because you can only get one drink at a time, and then have to return the glass to get another one,then at the end of the day you get your token back. There was an indoor swimming pool,gym and spa,and a massage facility which was a paid extra,we didn't use it,but it was very popular. The all inclusive was available from 10.30 am till 11pm. There was also a games room,and a reading room,where you could swap books, which i made good use of. The hotel was in an excellent location,just literally a 2 minute walk from the strip,close as you can get but without the noise! We couldn't speak for the evening entertainment,as we were never there,we like karaoke,so always used our favourite places. If you like a song,just over the road is The Palladium,where they have karaoke from 2pm till 8pm every day,with an excellent sound system. Or if you want to give daytime a miss,our other favourite place was The Why Not? which is open from 7pm every night,which you will find a little further down, from The Palladium,both on the strip(Calle Gerona) Both of these venues have excellent value drinks and are very popular. There's something for everyone in this resort,there's entertainment on the hour,every hour,all free to see. You will find all acts and their times/venues if you google the Benidorm Seriously whats on guide. Back to the hotel,i noticed there was ample space for mobilty scooters outside the hotel,and there were disabled toilets located on the ground floor,and restaurant floor. It's convenient for the indoor market,which is a 5 minute walk,and the beach is also a 5 minute walk. If you want to exchange cash for Euros,use the places in the indoor market, as you won't get ripped off. I cannot fault this hotel in any way,i have stayed in many hotels here,at least four times a year,for many years and i have to say,this is now my favourite,and have since booked again for December. Lastly,a special mention to Agata,who we thought was the most cheerful and happiest person you could wish to meet. Already counting the days till i return.

We booked through L.H., which made an error when booking our flights and accommodation. Basically, they said, “We don’t care, and we won’t help.” I contacted the hotel and the airline directly, and they dealt with it immediately. Unfortunately, our plane seats were covered in food or sick—I'm not really sure. The travel company dropped us off right outside the hotel, which was very clean. The rooms were also clean; however, the inside of our fridge wasn’t, so we didn’t use it. It wasn’t clear if there was a cost to use the fridge, but I was glad there was no mini fridge cluttering the space. The pools and surrounding areas were very clean. Breakfast was good, and the restaurant was clean as well. Dinner was not so great; it was very busy with queues everywhere—even in October. It wasn't well thought out for mobility or for single parents carrying multiple plates. The reception staff were not friendly or approachable at all. There were no inflatables allowed in either pool, which I think should be stated on the website. Sunbeds were taken by towels by 10 a.m., with no one even using them. I was electrocuted by the hairdryer in the bathroom but didn’t approach reception due to their rudeness. On our first night at the kids' entertainment, I waited at the inside bar for eight minutes, only to be told that I had to “leave the building” and join the all-inclusive queue outside. This meant my son would have been left out of sight for over 20 minutes, and I would have had to pay excessively for drinks—not worth it unless you have an inclusive package. When I attempted to check the transfer time in the transfers folder, I was asked what I was doing. After explaining, I was told to come back twice, as they only updated it a couple of hours before—definitely not great when you're trying to plan your last day. I approached reception to ask about transfers and was told to phone the company. When I tried to call, there was no answer, so I went back to reception. They huffed and puffed before looking it up on the computer and telling me the time. I didn’t dare check the pickup location. On the morning of departure, I asked where the pickup location was and was told to find my name in the book. They didn’t ask me how my room or stay was. With my mobility issues and a small child, I had to walk two streets with two heavy suitcases to the pickup point, despite having made my disability clear to all providers. PlayStation 4 free to play on a rainy day! The transfer driver was probably the happiest person I met all holiday and provided the best service. This hotel and holiday are not worth the risk of getting a school fine. It was probably too expensive for the experience. It’s worth noting that this hotel is busy 24/7, so if you want to sleep at night, I’d recommend another hotel. This hotel was chaotic and overcrowded; I can only imagine how they would accommodate guests during the summer holidays.

In general the hotel was very nice, staff were very helpful,rooms were cleaned daily and the shower was fantastic,the hotel is in a great location for all the main bars and shopping areas but surprisingly quiet at night, slept very well every single night, the beach was only a five minute walk away, food variety could of been better, not a very good choice on offer for vegetarians and most of the outside sunbeds around the pool were always reserved by the time breakfast was over.Read a lot of bad reviews about the Rosamar but turned out to be a great hotel, would definitely stay there again.
