Excellent location for hotel within walking distance of pubs hotel staff was really nice and friendly cudn do enough for you food in main restaurant was nice but was same most days but we hate mostly at snack bar which had good selection off food evening entertainment was ok but cudn been better maybe due to time of year but we went out most evenings aswell rooms where spacious and cleaned everyday to high standard good selection of all inclusive drinks but was given plastic cups on arrival if lost had to pay 1 euro overall good hotel and would definitely stay there again

Happy new year all. My honest review of this hotel I’m still actually in at this moment. Pros. Hotel is clean throughout. Rooms are clean. Beds made everyday. Clean towels everyday. Yes there’s a few squatted mozzies on the odd wall but it’s nothing to moan about. Reception staff are nice and helpful. We arrived at 12pm check in isn’t until 4pm but they gave us wristbands and we headed to bar. Rooms were ready at 2pm so they gave us keys. Lifts are ok obvs have to wait at peak times but not too bad. Bar staff are lovely and measures are good. Bar balcony has the sunshine from 12 till 4pm in winter. Food is more than adequate and if you can’t make a decent meal then it’s your own fault. There’s plenty of hot and cold foods to choose from. All in all a great hotel we would return to in the winter. Cons. Pool is too small for hotel in summer. That’s about the only thing against this hotel in my opinion. Yes this is my opinion and the opinion of my family and parents in-law who are in their 80s who have also enjoyed their stay. So keep your negative opinions for your own reviews. If I would have believed the poor reviews I probably would have cancelled and gone elsewhere but we’ve overall had a nice stay here . We stayed from Boxing Day to New Year’s Day on half board basis We come to Benidorm 3 times a year and we’ve stayed in a lot of hotels , apartments and even the camping parks in this area . So I booked direct with the Rosamar . And booked everything seperate like I always do. A week before Rosamar emailed me to ask what time we would be arriving .i then get a email on Christmas Day stating due to a error on their payment gateway they could not charge me for my stay and to follow the link in their email and make payment within 24 hours or our booking would be cancelled . Panic set in and thank god I read the email . We arrive and check in took about 10 minutes as they’re was a long queue which we didn’t mind . I was informed My standard room had been upgraded to a superior on the 6th floor 604 . Wow what a lovely room , huge comfy double bed ,seperate living area kitchen , microwave and kettle , tea and coffee . Sofa TV in both rooms . We overoooked Morgan’s tavern to the right and sol pelicanos pool to the left . I was happy with the room . Heating was set on 28degrees , far too high for us brits so I managed to turn it down to a more comfortable level . I slept better in this hotel than any other hotel I’ve stayed in Benidorm . The room was so quiet considering it was full to capacity . Shower was amazing Food We enjoyed both the breakfast and evening meals only eating out once on an evening on the Mexican night . Breakfast you can have any drink . But on evening meal only water is free . I was charged €2 for a small glass of sprite the first night . Food could have been a touch Warmer but it wasn’t cold as some reviews say . I rate the food here better than the riveria next door where we stayed last November . Hotel reception and staff I never encountered any rudeness from any of the staff and all were polite and friendly I can understand why at mealtimes you have to queue and this is to ensure you sit at a table to suit the number of guests . If everyone just sat anywhere the queues would be much longer . Cleaning This needs to be improved . We were here 6 days and our sheets and pillow cases haven’t been changed the rubbish bags were not taken away until I completed a questionaire and all the cleaners seemed to do was make your bed and fresh towels were hit and miss .previous reviews state the walls were scuffed which is correct . But you have to blame inconsiderate guests for that not the hotels fault . Pool areas and reception were clean and looked beautiful and Christmassy . Water park closed for winter . Lifts The reviews are correct about the lifts there are 5 lifts and they were very slow and really can’t cope with the ammount of guests . 14 floors and the restaurant in on -1 so with everyone trying to get up and down you do have e to queue . Location Perfect location and this is why I chose the Rosamar . For the price difference between all the poplar hotels in the vicinity I think the Rosamar was good value for money and I would definately return . I imagine in the summer holidays it would be manic with family’s due to the water park . I’ve stayed at magic aqua rock with my grandchildren but I’d prefer to bring them here . I think some reviews are certainly unfair because i would certainly put it my top 5 to stay in Cons Paying for the replenishment of tea and coffee I felt was a bit unfair .
