This is a review for nearly two weeks spent in June at a lovely hotel which I could not fault at all. While we got dropped off at the door in a taxi the coaches drop off at the bottom off the road no more than a minutes walk. While the room was not quite ready just an hours wait we were given the wrist bands for drinks and a meal and storage space for our cases. Our request for a lower floor was met with floor 3 so easy to walk and not have to wait for the lifts. The rooms had two large double beds, plenty of storage space, a large balcony and most important air conditioning which worked to well at times. There was a fridge with water but you had to pay for that so stock up downstairs where it is free. The large T.V. had plenty of English, Dutch and French channels. The bathroom had bath and impressive shower with plenty of toiletries and towels. While there were six lifts which all showed which floor they were currently at they often flew past so it was quicker to walk. The Restaurant was very cool and there were plenty of tables with some reserved for large families and people with disabilities. The breakfast the chef cooked omelettes, toasties etc to order which meant they were fresh. Proper English bacon as well as Spanish was served. Basically everything you could think off was on offer including special dietary needs. Both Lunch and Dinner were similar in nature starting with the Pasta, Pizza and Rice station then progressing to the show cooking where steaks, pork chops, lamb chops and even kebabs were available some days. While not the biggest variety I have seen the standard was high especially the two fish dishes which were on offer. Only slight fault was it was waiter service for drinks which could take time if you were unlucky. The pool area was open from 10.00am till 8.00pm and has four main areas. There is the outside terrace with plenty of seats to relax with a drink in a glass or a bite to eat. At ten the chains are removed and while there are round fifty people waiting there are plenty of sunbeds. To the right of the terrace is the splash pool for youngsters which is well decorated. There is also a deeper pool to swim in. To the left is what I would describe as an adults only sunbathing area with loads of beds. The final area is downstairs right next to the pool again plenty of beds but the ones in the sun fill up quickly. Lastly in this area is a magnificent play area with soft play, bouncy castle, small football pitch, mini golf and Go Karts which are available at night. While all this is going on the recent addition to the hotel the Food Van will serve you toasties, burgers, chips all free if silver or gold with a host of other items at a small charge . The bar is perhaps one of the few areas which needs a rethink partly due to some customers being not all inclusive some silver and some gold which meant the waiters not only had to look up the prices they keyed everything into a computer for stock control. To cut a long story short for coffees or cocktails you could wait a long time especially if some one ordered six drinks which was common. While the San Miguel was free for silver and gold customers the Stella was an extra 1.70 for Silver. Finally to up grade to fully inclusive Silver was 20 euros a day to Gold 28 euros a day and from Silver to Gold 8 euros per day meaning you could get better drinks. The entertainment began round eight with a mini disco then most nights there were two turns finishing round ten thirty then twelve. While there is a kids club in the afternoon there is also one half nine till half eleven in secure room by the stage so the parents can get drunk in peace. Lastly re the hotel is the Spa. There are two heated pools one half Olympic standard and you get one hour per day free. To use the gym which has 20 pieces of equipment and all the Turkish baths, whirlpools etc it's seven euros per day. Last but not least is the excellent location. You are five minutes walk to the old town and you can be on the strip in ten minutes. The seafront is again less than ten minutes. To your left at the top of the street five minutes is a large supermarket and the start of the very impressive Primevara Park which is huge and leads to Benidorm Tram station. All in all a great holiday with very few complaints.

“Second enjoyable stay at RH Princesa”

My husband and I stayed here for the second time in March and had a very enjoyable stay. We were on the 12th floor (we had asked for a high one) overlooking the pool which was great. We didn’t feel the need to upgrade to Gold as the beer was good and we found several other drinks we could enjoy. The food was very good and there was plenty of variety. The English bacon ran out a few times but people were taking several slices at a time and several fried eggs. Greed will out! The staff were very amiable and hard working. Our room was pretty much as before but our wardrobe had opening doors which I preferred to the sliding doors in the previous room. We slept very well and the blackout curtains worked 100%. We slept with the door open as it was too early for air conditioning. We were not disturbed by noise outside. A kettle is. Provided and tea and coffee were replenished. Would have like more storage in the bathroom but that is a minor detail. There was a bidet and the shower was good. Toiletries were provided. The evening entertainment was varied and good. I would have liked more karaoke but that’s just me as I like to sing. The balconies are private and a good size. There are lots of poolside loungers and chairs plus the terrace is a pleasant place to sit with a drink. We hope to return.

“Benidorm Home from home”

Family of four, two young children aged 2 and 7. Week stay in June. This was our first time in benidorm and also our first family holiday abroad. Upon arrival the coach dropped us at the bottom of the street about a minute walk. Was greeted by Jordi on the desk who was lovely throughout the week. My daughter Ava instantly adored him, she was very upset on his days off. We upgraded to gold band all inclusive this was an extra €60 for the week. Disappointed though that still all booze and food was not included, an extra €2.50 for chicken nuggets etc...come on we pay enough! Surely gold means everything included. And another thing no ice lollies, I was told to go over the road to buy some. When it's hot all you want sometimes is a ice lolly especially the kids. We requested a low floor room and pool view and both of these were met, we had room 402- spacious ideal for a family. A bath! Which is a bonus especially for the kids. Balcony's are large with 2 seats and a small table, little sun trap. Food is typically what you get at a Spanish all inclusive, all of say is maybe a little big more choice for kids my youngest Roman who is 2 lived on crisps, ice cream and bread sticks- nothing was to his liking. My only complaint would be the temperature of the pool my gosh it is cold!!! My daughter come out once crying she was that cold, such a shame even on the hot days. Please please heat the pool up, I read it on so many reviews surely there is something you can do about it. Location i thought was spot on. You are out of the way so on a night is lovely and quiet but not to far away to get to shops, beach and restaurants. My 2 loved the children's disco each night and Ava love activities throughout the day, she made some lovely little friends. I would of given it a 5 stars but things like pool temperature, and not everything being all inclusive/ no ice lollies is just disappointing. Saying all this we still come home and booked straight back up for June 2025. Let's see if my small quibbles have been fixed. See you all soon!

The hotel was clean and in a good location. Other than that there were no food choices at all, the entertainment was average at night. Not all inclusive at all you have no drink options unless you pay to upgrade and also have to pay extra for food such as chicken nuggets which should be free when you pay for all inclusive? I took my 7 month old baby and was not given a cot in the hotel room.you also have to use your room card for everything when at the end of my stay they tried charging me €11 for drinks in the canteen, which I didn’t even use becusse the food was the same every night and no kids options. I then had some photos done by the photographer in the hotel, which I paid an extra €8 on top of the price to have emailed to me. I was told her manager would send me them on email. 2 and a half weeks later still no pictures. When I write anything negative on the princesa Facebook page they delete comments. I have emailed the hotel and the company for photographs and they are not willing to help me. The manager messaged me a week ago saying she’d send them the same day and still nothing and not even a refund. I would not recommend this hotel and defiantly do not recommend having pictures done! Completely unprofessional and a money making scheme.
