“Best Hotel in Benidorm”

We have been to the Don Pancho many many times and if it is possible it gets better every visit. Every aspect of hotel is 5* room food staff and position. Nothing is too much trouble (not that we have had any) pool can get a bit busy but never any problem to get a seat or bed.

This hotel never fails to meet our high expectations! Pie room on the 13th floor was very comfortable and was kept clean, with towels being changed every day! However we felt our room could do with a little makeover as the wallpaper had begun to peel on the wall where the tv is rm 1308 - other rain this we highly recommend this splendid hotel with sea views!

My husband and I just arrived home and I want to start off with the positives of this hotel: It is absolutely beautiful when you walk in you are just stunned The pool attendant guy was the best part of the pool area he couldn’t do enough for you always happy to see us i missed him on his days off 🥰 every time I wanted to move my sun bed he was there or put the umbrella up he didn’t stop always doing something I could tell he loved his job I cut my finger open on the first day quite deep in a beach bar it was gushing with blood so I run back to the hotel not knowing what to do I did go to a pharmacy but they couldn’t help, the young female receptionist was amazing she calmed me down did first aid and called me a taxi to the nearest medical centre The rooms were so clean gleaming and the cleaning staff were fabulous No issues with the lifts except they were a bit small but fine for just the two of us Now I hate to say anything negative but it’s just me and how I feel: The sun beds were too close together I felt i had no personal space from guests I didn’t know (I do understand the hotel was trying to fit all the guests in because it’s so busy there) but I felt uncomfortable It was only wait service (I appreciated the waiters so much and i understand they were busy) but I just need water all the time and I kept having to wait for them to come or get their attention and I felt a little bit of an inconvenience I felt bad like I was nagging plus I like going to the bar and ordering getting away from my sun bed for 10 minutes, I did go up a couple of times and they did make my drink but I didn’t feel very welcome on times because they were busy or they’d say go back to your table but then they would come but it didn’t make me feel very good I had a water in the restaurant lunch time and asked the wait staff could it be poured into a plastic cup to go by the pool they just said no so I had to leave it The menus that were put up on the screens often didn’t match what was actually served I swapped one day because I liked a certain soup but it wasn’t there so in the end i ignored the screen However, I did have a lovely holiday and still would like to thank the staff in the hotel 😃
