This year we stayed the first week in March. We also stayed the week before Christmas and in the middle of October, 2024. In the winter months, you can expect that MOST of the guests will be Spanish, with the majority being pensioners. It is located a mile away from the Old Town and perhaps two miles away from the New Town, so if you are looking for a drunken week in the Benidorm Strip, then this hotel is most definitely not the place for you to stay! Please, please choose somewhere else! My wife and I have stayed at the Hotel Bali around 20 times, a week each time. Usually in February. Always half board. The Breakfasts and evening meals are always good, with a Spanish flair to most dishes. The rooms are clean and adequate. The staff are always polite and helpful. The bus stop is located outside of the hotel and there is a number 2 or 3 bus into town every 10 minutes. A great location for walking. Lots of interesting places to visit - especially if you use the buses or, as we do, the trams. Very noisy residents (who WILL be rough British or Irish) will be quickly dealt with by the management. Or the police! Far enough away from Benidorm town to avoid all the noise and rowdiness. Negatives: Some rough British guests will stay at the Bali, mistakenly thinking that it is near to the action in the centre of Benidorm. They expect booze, burgers and partying. The Bali is not like that at all and they will be disappointed - as you may observe from the negative comments, of which most are just malicious lies! I have no hesitation in recommending the Bali to you for a late autumn, winter or early spring holiday in Benidorm.

My friend and I came to Benidorm for a bit of winter sun, but unfortunately, it was very cloudy... luckily though, we had almost no rain after the forecast said rain everyday! We arrived at the hotel at approximately 5.30pm after a 30min transfer from Alicante Airport, which was very easy to find on level -2, and as there was no queue at hotel reception, we were checked in quickly. (I can imagine it's a lot slower when it's busy though!). We stayed on 25th floor and had a brilliant view! The room was basic but clean. Bed was comfy, bathroom was spacious; no frills but just what we needed. As it was cloudy and quite windy, we weren't able sit by the pool but we did walk 40 mins each way along the beach to the Old Town on day 1 of our stay, which was lovely, and then a few other walks closer to the hotel the remaining days. We were all inclusive at the hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed it - probably more so due to the weather keeping us inside! We ate at both buffet restaurants and really couldn't fault it. Breakfast was the busiest time as lots of guests just do B&B, but there's plenty of seating and lots of food to choose from including a large selection of hot food, meats and cheeses, fruits, cereal and pastries, plus fruit juices and hot drinks. We went down to the restaurant between 7.30 & 7.45am each morning when it was a bit quieter. Lunch was great too, and slightly different every day - they offered meatballs and rice, roast pork, baked potatoes and huge paellas along with the usual chips, breaded chicken nuggets and burgers, plus salad, pastas, cheeses and yummy desserts. Delicious mini ice cream cups too! Dinner was also excellent - fish, beef stew with rice, chicken squewers, pork chops, pizza, soups, salad bar with pastas and slaws, and those yummy desserts again! A small, square, chocolate mousse cake was my fave! Overall, it was definitely worth the money and my friend and I both agreed we'd stay again - hopefully when the weather is better!
