“Fantastic hotel and the best staff”

All staff are fantastic but entertainment and restaurant staff have made us feel really welcome. Brilliant kids entertainment, my little boy has had the best time here at magic rock gardens. We would definitely come back. A lot of food options so something for everyone. Also a really clean hotel.

Start positive: Reception staff and the food was great. Wrist bands are poor, one day I had to go to reception to have it re-set 4 times, you could not get a drink unless it was active, so you missed your place in the bar queue. Bar queues were long at peak times. They have a rule of 2 drinks per person and we are a family of 4, when I told the bar staff this, he gave me 2 drinks and I was then dismissed like a child and told to re join the back of the queue to get the other 2 drinks. Chill-out area on the rooftop is nice, however we told to leave half hour earlier, no reason, however I think it was because only my husband & I were there. We were expect to get a welcome pack (food and drink) as we booked Ultra all Inclusive, we didn't get it. It's a 4* hotel, I'd rate it as a low 3*

We came for 5 nights for my daughters birthday. There is some pros and cons of the hotel but I have been a travel agent for a long time so here is my honest opinion. Hotel is ok. Nothing special and nothing bad but the what is good is the kids entertainment, it is fantastic! They make you laugh all day long! Pool - rubbish! Hotel layout - again rubbish, it does not make any sense, there is no outdoor seating if you want a drink outside. So many lifts which is good but most of the time don’t work. Rooms - horrible without a balcony, it makes you feel claustrophobic. The only thing I will say is that they are so clean and the beds are really comfortable! Food - omg where do I start, it’s so bad, we went out every day and night to eat luckily it’s cheap out in Benidorm! Drinks - yeh good. Just standard all inclusive drinks. One thing I am really disappointed in is the people here. The hotel states that there is no groups allowed. This is a complete lie. Drunk middle aged people in groups everywhere. The bar is full of them but it’s embarrassing. The reason we picked this hotel was because it’s a family favourites. The hotel was so busy and there was about 10 families. The rest were drunk groups. This is so disappointing within the hotels standards because this is false information. 2am people coming in singing and laughing, drunk people walking around with 2 glasses on wine/beers in their hands, groups of women playing brum and base music in the lobby. This isn’t acceptable and making myself and my husband really uncomfortable. The bar area is not big enough. There is around 8 tables and no where to sit as a family because of the drunk groups everywhere. Reconsider if you are looking at booking here. I know one thing I won’t be promoting it.
